The above tests were all initiated using the "-force -dx11" command.
Using DX11 is a band-aid fix and it means some other settings somewhere are borked, usually caused by previous attempts to try and force exclusive fullscreen mode and/or disable fullscreen optimizations. DX12 only works in borderless windowed mode.
Also, you only need to add -dx11 since -force does nothing.
My PC is pretty new and powerful, so this isnt the problem.
Does it make a big difference playing in fullscreen mode or borderless windowed mode?
I have verified the notebook with Intel 14th Gen + RTX 4080 or desktop Intel 10980XE + RTX 4090.
It seems to have nothing to do with the hardware settings. There seems to be an issue with the connection between DBD and the Steam program.
I have DX12 on my computer and a Radeon RX 580 2048SP
I've tried everything, even played on my second monitor, set the settings in the graphics card to reset.
I really don't know what to do anymore.
