Mirrored Illusion

I used mirrored illusion the moment it was released and it worked this way:
First image was very unclear, so everybody could recognize immediately that it is illusion.
But the second and next images were firm and was hard to distinguish from real player.
Did they somehow changed this perk or there is some technique to make illusions real?

P.S. Event is great - I met a lot of players (survivors and killers) that were lovely. Sometimes it was real competition and sometime just having fun with dummy perks from both sides. Event is cool, cosmetics are great and I wish everybody to have positive players in their game. Reason I'm talking about it, cause community somehow became real toxic, both sides always have some complaints. I'm gonna reveal a big secret - you are not survivor or killer main. You are DBD main. Sides you choose to play depends on your playstyle, character and your mood. Stop criticizing each other and leave devs to fix issues. If not satisfied - make a pause till update suitable to you will be uploaded.

I don't think so. Can it be the lighting was different at the new location you used the illusion?

Same maps. First illusions were always not realistic, like in some mirage. But second illusions were like identical copy of the survivor, just without moving hands. Now I can't get this realistic illusions no matter what I do.

The new patch added a fix for Mirrored illusion that said "The Mirrored Illusion can no longer be distinguished from The Killer POV from afar" prob something to do with that?
