You can always tell when everyone in your lobby is a solo Survivor as Killing has been made to be so easy that they get creamed before a single generator gets done. Killing will be even easier when the PTB hits live.
it turns out that recent balances have focused more on lowering the overall power of survivors rather than punishing the swf itself that bypass the core game (balancing around swf)
Then you had the increase in kill-rates which "objectively "is telling us that the game is favoring killers lately, even if in the top 5% MMR. But obviously this is not what you feel in the game as killer where the whole core was based on the 1v1v1v1v1 experience, and as the survivors lost power in general, the SoloQ that is the true experience of the game is what is inflating these stats, since was the most impacted, and when you play killer you easily realize when you are dealing with Solo survivors or SWF.
Anyway, until Devs decide to dig deeper into the stats, making them more reliable, such as % lobbies (solo, duos, trios and squads) and survival rate from top MMR and things like how soft cap is applied on that and separate swf from SoloQ in the same mode, the game will follow the rule above (swf>killer>Solo survivor)
Playing solo q still feels bad, and playing killer stills feels sweaty compared to survivors, but I think the game is in its best state. So yeah, it is actually better in terms of balance than some years ago. Still, it's far from balanced, so that's my answer to your thread. No, it isn't balanced, but it's not as bad if you compare it to 2021 DBD for example.
It may be better after the next patch update. Right now, you HAVE to bring so much regression as a killer, and as a survivor you have to bring SO MANY second chance tools just to keep the gens going. Hoping the healing and the regression changes break this cycle, though.
Of course if you are baby noob kiler.
There is not difference between a solo player and a SWF player scape rate until the highest MMR so even at the top 5% there is no difference between solo or SWF for kill rates. This was explained by the devs in the DBD forum.
