unlock hatch 2x's challenge

Anyone else get this? it's the ONLY challenge I have available right now and it's been impossible with try hard killers and idiot teammates.

I've done it.

I'm surprised BHVR hasn't changed this challenge yet since it's a holdover from when the hatch would spawn much sooner.

Anyway, Low Profile + Left Behind + Key with the addon to show the killer's aura are your friends. I also used the addon to preserve the key if I died.

Yeah, and take a hatch offering, so you can have a better chance of attracting the killer so you can unlock it.

Thank you for the tips. I will give them a try and see how it goes. I've come close a few times, but there are way too many people who like to goof off, won't leave, too busy slugging, or flat out try hards.

Honestly a challenge like this might be easier in 2v8 when it comes on the 10th, although there's 2 killers there's also 3 hatches that spawn when there's 2-3 survivors left making it easier to get it done, i've done it a few times with endgame/hatch related challenges

I didn't think about that, but I also work 6 days a week and only have mornings to play. I'll keep trying though, but 2v8 may be easier. Thanks!

You said UNLOCK hatch meaning you have to use key on it. Make sure you are reading the challenge right before trying to do it in 2v8.

Ahhh true, forgot you have to find the loot in it and even then it's pain

Actually, you can take a key in 2v8

In 2v8 you cannot take any items in. You also cannot pick any perk, you have to take one of the pre-set classes. The only way to bypass that is by cheating.

Actually this is precisely how I got it during the last first 2v8. It felt like there were a lot more keys during those events and with more gates and hatches it was rare that a killer would come back. I have no idea when it'll be back, but don't rule it out.

Yeah, I had a teammate die, leaving behind a key in 2v8. I used it to open the hatch and escape in the last event. That said, I think left behind and a map offering would be way more likely to work out truth be told.

Fantastic. This was actually one of my most memorable matches in 1400 hours. Loved this challenge, even if it was ultra stressful. Lol
