Outbreak Breakout achievement

I'm hunting all the achievements and I'm currently doing the Outbreak Breakout achievement where you have to open the gates on RPD 20 times and escape. I've been doing it for quite a while and I wondered why I didn't get it already for escaping so many times.

Now I just checked it and my current progress says 0/20.

Am I missing something...?

You need to OPEN the gates and escape. That means tapping it on 99% doesn't count because there is a hidden timer that records your actions based on how long you do something, I recommend either 95;ing it or just instantly opening it and choose whether to save your team mate or leave.

But I always OPEN them AND escape. I don't let anyone open them for me nor 99% them. I just go for the achievement. I know how achievements work.

for an actual answer. all i can say is sometimes the tracker doesnt track correctly.

Well that changes the foundation of your query.
You should verify file integrity when you click on properties, on local files. I encountered a similar problem with some other achievements and it seemed to do the job other times it just took a while for the progress to update.

If you still encounter the issue you should contact bhvr support.
