*cough* *cough* Nurse *cough*
it's not hard
he gives you hindered and fake pallets with an easy tell if you don't
big whoop
stop complaining
I agree with you that the rework is garbage, but it's only OP on paper-- and it might feel OP while you're first getting used to the changes from the survivor side... but I was a Freddy main before the rework, and regularly getting 4ks with him. Hell, just for fun, I would go in with no perks, and no add-ons except rake, and get my 4ks that way.
Now... they improved some parts of his base kit, but nerfed everything else. They didn't mention it in the updates, but they even nerfed his attack range. I was a specialist at hitting people with the very tip of his range, so far that it looks like his attack didn't even connect-- and in 15 matches, I haven't been able to do it once since the update. I was hitting that "trickshot" at about 90% of attempts, prior to the rework.
Not being able to lay snare traps is garbage. Survivors can now not only see which pallets are Freddy's, but they can *actually use them against him like real pallets*, which is garbage.
Survivors now spend WAY more time awake, which means his snares and pallets are basically useless. Exploding pallets are not only difficult to hit with the explosion, but you literally have to manipulate the survivor into going where you want, then also predict the moment they'll get there about 1.75 seconds in advance, and if they're not in a very small area when the explosion goes off, they don't get hit.
Freddy's teleport goes on full cooldown even when you don't use it.
The only advantages he actually has over the previous version are:
1) Teleporting to generators that are completed. (He should have had this from the beginning.)
2) Killer Instinct and ability to teleport to healing survivors (ONLY if they're also asleep)
3) Dream snares as projectiles (double-edged sword. THey can't be left as traps now, which was a critical part of the previous playstyle)
Essentially, he functions like a completely different character. All they had to do was tweak a couple of the old things, but they ruined it all.
Asking somebody to read how a killer works before complaining about it is a bridge too far, Artemis! How dare, lol
>Rework
>Killer is OP, overplayed and gets Hate
>Heavy Nerfs
>Killer is weak, unplayed and unpopular
Repeat forever
The pallets can still be hard to tell from a distance and once you trigger the explosion it blocks them from being able to drop the pallet. That means even if you miss the hit itself with the explosion survivors can still be baited into running towards dead-zones that they think have a pallet or multiple pallets while blocking them from being able to stun you with your own fake pallets. Imagine if mage hand on Vecna had 0 cooldown, destroyed the pallet while it was still standing and people still complained they get pallet stunned to much... that is the equivalent of being stunned by a dream pallet imo.
in my opinion he is weaker now
He is weaker on the people who don't use his new kit / try to play old freddy... he is overpowered to the people who don't read his new kit and try to play against him like he is old freddy... TLDR: He is broken ( both directions ) to anybody who doesn't know how to read.
