Bought the game and can't even start it because error code 3005

Error Code: 3005 (startservice EasyAnticheat_EOSSys failed with -2145452015.)

I've deleted anticheat file and verified, deleted it then started, reinstalled twice and a few other things I can't remember. I've never even played this game yet.

Please can I get any help?

Ive had a similar iasue where the game wont boot due to anti cheat. I suggest verifying your files and seeing if that works

Make sure that all your drives are updated, and windows if you use that.

Did you try all these things?

"Delete the the EasyAntiCheat.sys file.
Verify the game files.
Allow Easy Anti-Cheat through your firewall or antivirus.
Start the Easy Anti-Cheat service.
Repair or reinstall Easy Anti-Cheat.
Reinstall the problematic game"

And if you just bought it and can't get it to run, refund it and get something that does. I doubt it's an Unreal Engine 5 issue since it mentions "Anti-Cheat" and not the typical UE error.

Are you using some kind of anti-virus other than Windows Defender?

Did you add EAC folders & exe to Windows Defender?

Check Windows Security --> Device security --> Click on "Core Isolation details"

Is Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection turned on?

If it is on and you can turn it off that seems to help most people after restarting, but it depends on if you have that as an option or not depending on your hardware
