if you buy a DLC that has characters you already have

do you get auric cells, iridescent shards or nothing if you buy it? I already have demogorgon but i was considering buying the DLC since i like fixated and steves perks seem nice but if i dont get any compensation for demo then ill just buy more auric cells instead

it got reverted when they got the license back so i have a yellow fixated but i cant upgrade it

when you buy anything tht has multiple items or a bundle or such that has a few things you already own its cost if reflected less then if bout it all fully. ie if had the survivors but not killer or killer map then its price is suposed be less then full price reflected via how much you own versus what else your getting in the package or bundle or set ect ie you get it discounted slightly price though at times doesnt feel enough , but nothing extra .

anything bought that you have something already from its reduced price. and your welcome thats also why i said package or bundle . as packages are from the game they make for a killer or survivor or a tome release or another game franchise brought over to dbd . dcls are packages , bundles are random or themed grouped things sold as a bundle .

all things bought are to reflect reduction once you put into cart its suposed figure wat you have and what your buying . least it has been forever in Dbd . been playing since 2nd year release . so not sure why its not . maybe because its a liscend killer or such maybe its not allowed be reduced like thier own content in dbd? honeslty not sure . ive never had this issue but doesnt mean things might have changed . still id contact thier customer service and ask . couldnt hurt .

The price on the Steam store page does not necessarily reflect what you have in-game, because the store page relies on licenses granted by Valve to tell what you do and don't have access to. Say for instance that you obtained Houndmaster in-game via shards; Steam would still charge you full price if you bought the DLC containing her and Taurie using Steam wallet funds. When you buy characters or DLC with Auric Cells, that information is stored on BHVR's end but not Valve's.
