Is Deathslinger bugged?

I used to play him quite often, i'm talking back in the days of dead hard supremacy, and i never noticed any issues with his spear. If i missed, i missed, and the miss made sense., but after playing other killers for a while and coming back to him, everything feels off.

I'm aware of the hit box position on survivors being slightly behind them when they are bent over injured but it isn't? Sometimes i need to shoot out into Narnia to hit a survivor where i will watch my spear hit the air, and then teleport into the survivor, and it changes on a per survivor basis. Some seem normal while others are essentially ghosts.

If i shoot too quickly after turning a corner the spear will act like i am still around the corner and hit nothing like i fired into the wall. This phenomenon happens at the shack quite often and lane tiles. When i turn through the door and spear the survivor while they vault the window, either i hit nothing and the spear instantly explodes or it just passes through the survivors body like they are not half way through the vault filling the window.

I have also been noticing some survivors are able to immediately crouch and move away from windows the second i go to hit them denying the hit. As far as i know you should fling your arms in the air in a soft animation lock but they completely negate it and it doesn't play.

Am i the only one or is something just horrifically wrong with my game?

Have you checked their pings at the beginning of the match (where the 3rd.cam is rotating around your killer) to compare it with their ping during the match ?

I think you are on pc/steam & 'planet players' are often non consistent with ther killer's power hits. For the instance, it can happens with the Chucky's power hits as the Billy Chainsaw's hits as well.

So yes, it can happens with your deathslinger's shots too. But I'm not a specialist about it...
