Why don't some survivors just leave?
I was playing survivor and just me and this dwight were left. I left as soon as possible and he was right at the exit gate I believe waiting to taunt the killer. After a couple of seconds I spectate and saw him getting carried away to the hook 😂

An age old question:
-some survs just like to taunt and/or waste the killer's time, sort of like an extra humiliation
-some survs voluntarily get sacrificed, if they feel the trial was one-sided
-others want to get moried
-hatch plays/ (self-set) challenges to find it endgame

It could be because of Bloodpoints, the longer you stay alive in the match, the more you get.

In this case, it might have gone wrong, because they were a bit far from the door and the killer had NoED

In the end, it could be a number of things, don't try to understand, it won't lead to anything

They were right behind me though, inside the exit gate. The killer was far away. Surely he must have gone out to vault a window nearby to lure the killer and it ended badly. The killer also didn't have NOED, he was injured though. Its funny though he sacrificed 7k bp for whatever extra he could get for staying longer.

I remember I had a game like that when I played Nemesis. 4 survs were tbagging me at the exit gate, so I turned around and walked away.

Then I noticed that one of them is still in the game for some reason. I came back, sneaking around the corner and saw a surv healing himself. I slashed him with the tentacle and quickly grabbed him, and carried his dumb tbgagging ass to the hook.

The feeling of satisfaction was indescribable :lunar2019laughingpig:

Most likely tried to taunt/didn't care about escaping (if the match was one-sided) and got caught. What killer was it ? Some grab powers block the exit for 5 seconds, giving a killer just enough time to pick up a survivor before they could crawl away (unless they have a teammate still there to heal tech).

It was a xenomorph. The xenomorph got a 2k and the dwight turned it into a 3k

He might have wanted hatch and did not care if he died. I have done that few times.

90% of the time is just taunting at the exit gates. Next game, they get tunneled and camped out of the game, open a post at the forums and ask how unfair that is. How can killer do that?

Because some survivors want the Killer to see them leave through the gate or hatch. It's a taunt like, "Haha I'm free. See me escape. Blah blah." It's childish but not surprising.

And when killers respond to the taunts with their taunts, survivors scream in the discussions about imaginary rape W W'ing or some other weird crap :lunar2019laughingpig:
