Why the negative review bombing?

Didn't played much recently and don't follow news, PTB and news. I just noticed on the main page recent review "mostly negative"!
What I experience matchmaking sometimes crazy bad! As a killer get super good survivors or simply use the most annoying tactics. As a survivor... well, some killers really want the 4K + mori, slugging. And the latest Chapter possibly the worst start ever! ..... Hm, seems not so hard find answers. I just wonder anything "special" happened.

I've never experienced a region locked skin. Perhaps I don't buy enough to notice (I have a lot tho) but buying something you can't use and not getting a refund when you had zero warning is fraud. (I don't feel skins are the issue) I can't see the devs being that dumb, but they did let the game lose its charm by catering to cry babies, nerfing every perk and giving mori in end game. Players used to have respect for each other, killers to solo's and back but now its just a bunch of sweaty tryhards that end the game as quickly as possible making it pointless to bother as all the fun and enjoyment got sucked out of it. As surv I stick to playing with friends cause otherwise teammates are usually 5 years old throwing the matches. As killer I main Michael and enjoy scaring the heebie jeebies out of the players. But I no longer recruit friends to get the game and play. The list of issues is way too long.

A new licensed Cosmetic collection dropped but it is region locked in certain countries (china, russia, ukraine, probably more) due to licensing issues. So players from these countries which doesn't have access to these Cosmetics are frustrated and leave bad reviews.

Dont forget the fact that they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up on launch and didn't have the content region locked, so people could buy it, but then the cosmetics were removed from their accounts with ZERO refunds of currency or auric cells. There is already one well publicized account of this happened with multiple emails from support refusing to refund them, its not unlikely many more were victims of this theft.

This is terrible. Their answer is you DO have the skins they're just invisible/locked

I'm honestly surprised it didn't happen before. Let's be brutally honest. Compare current dbd to 2016, and the progress it has seen. It's really utter disappointing in comparison to other live service games that have lived this long. Survivor gameplay has practically seen zero changes, and the innovation just leaves a lot to be desired.
