I was just wondering if it was inspired by or eluding You're Not Here
Pyramid Head's music is exactly as a fan of Silent Hill would want and expect. Adding sirens would not be necessary unless the developers turned Pyramid Head into a hybrid Killer between classic Freddy and Dredge, with a "rusty" texture swap for every map to tell Survivors they have entered the Other World. This would have been cool, but ultimately the Pyramid Head we ended up with is fine as well.
My only gripe is that Konami picked Pyramid Head and not White Hunter, because according to true Silent Hill lore, Pyramid Head is only ever intended to be seen by James Sunderland. Its appearance to anyone else is canonically incorrect. The artist that created Pyramid Head has said this, and that is why he designed White Hunter, which is very similar in design to Pyramid Head except the metal helmet has peeling white paint on it and it carries a weapon that is like a spring-loaded switchblade with a spear for a blade. White Hunter was intended to be visible by anyone, not only James Sunderland.
