Pyramid Head's chase music origin?
So I decided to play Silent Hill 3 recently out of curiosity and during the intro of the game I noticed the intro music (You're Not Here) sounded similar to Pyramid Head’s 8m and chase terror radius (Speciflicy the guitar and percussion in both them sound as if they have the same note structure) I’m not very musically inclined so i'm asking here to question if i’m on to something here?

Here's both the songs to compare:

Pyramid Heads music is all brand new for Dead By Daylight. It was composed by Akira Yamaoka, the composer for most Silent Hill games and the movies. Akira Yamaoka liked using samples from sample libraries in his music, and I would imagine that he continued to use the same samples from when he composed for the Silent Hill games he worked on, which incudes Silent Hill 3.

I was just wondering if it was inspired by or eluding You're Not Here
well, you know, I don’t really notice the similarity here, but hey, they were created by the same talented person, Akira Yamaoka! So, I totally understand why some might feel they are alike. But putting all that aside, wouldn’t it be incredible if they incorporated sirens into the chase music? That would be absolutely amazing!

Sirens would most definitely fit the Silent Hill theme but I don’t know how the rest of community would feel a lot of the previous chase themes had to be changed for having alarm sound and it being too repetitive. Also if you need more explanation of what I find similar, listen to the guitar and the percussion (drums and the metal banging sound) in both of them. I believe they may have a similar number of beats and similar melody.

oh wow, now I can totally hear it! Yes, yes, there’s definitely a hint of similarity! I'm not sure if it’s on purpose, but how cool would it be if it’s an easter egg.

Sirens appear in the Silent Hill series but never as part of the music. The sirens always signify the main character leaving the Fog World and entering the Other World / Nightmare World. It is a sound effect that plays to let the player know they are about to enter the more dangerous part of the games. This is why the Midwich Elementary School map in DBD begins with a siren sound effect when you first spawn into the map. It matches the lore of Silent Hill and is thematically correct. The only other time that Silent Hill uses the siren sound is to tell the player when Pyramid Head is leaving, as shown in the original release of Silent Hill 2.

i really wish Silent Hill 2 had introduced the Evil world just like Silent Hill 1 did, It seems to me that hopping between the normal worlds and the Evil world is something special just for the Mason family, lol Plus, connecting PH with the Evil world and its sirens would be the ultimate treat for fans.

Silent Hill 2 does have James enter and exit the Other World multiple times in the game, the same way that Silent Hill 1 did it. Both games either use a cutscene or a door transition to accomplish the character transitioning between worlds, and the character stays in that world until a specific action is taken.

Pyramid Head's music is exactly as a fan of Silent Hill would want and expect. Adding sirens would not be necessary unless the developers turned Pyramid Head into a hybrid Killer between classic Freddy and Dredge, with a "rusty" texture swap for every map to tell Survivors they have entered the Other World. This would have been cool, but ultimately the Pyramid Head we ended up with is fine as well.

My only gripe is that Konami picked Pyramid Head and not White Hunter, because according to true Silent Hill lore, Pyramid Head is only ever intended to be seen by James Sunderland. Its appearance to anyone else is canonically incorrect. The artist that created Pyramid Head has said this, and that is why he designed White Hunter, which is very similar in design to Pyramid Head except the metal helmet has peeling white paint on it and it carries a weapon that is like a spring-loaded switchblade with a spear for a blade. White Hunter was intended to be visible by anyone, not only James Sunderland.

I was thinking the same thing, The Silent Hill lore in Dead by Daylight doesn't seem entirely accurate. When I first saw Heather with Pyramid Head, I thought, "Hmm, this doesn't quite fit." But honestly, not many people might care about those details. Overall, though, it's a solid representation of the franchise.
