Hacker/Cheater problem

I Really hope they can do something with cheaters Just had a game as Killer with all survivor cheaters teleporting around making themselves unhookable and unable to bleed out, So annoying.

Played 2 games as killer both games had cheaters and now I'm on a cooldown because I couldnt do anything.... Fun game :(

Also to answer your question CookMan, Well luckily as least for me I don't run into a whole lot of them but when you do yeah it's bad they basically make the game unplayable either by being a killer and insta downing you or being a survivor who can just walk through traps be unhooked and can teleport and fly around map so you can't get them.

try entering a match as survivor on hawkins lab and 2 guys are downed right away then hooked and you go to unhook and mikey falls through the roof on you and just hooks everyone that is the first in your face cheater i have ever seen and there screen name said it to i wish i had recorded it tho

Thanks Rose, lucky me I guess, that I didnt run into one of these annoying hacks yet. I hope the team behind DBD can fix them, hacking in video games is so senseless...

The further up in mmr you get the more you encounter them. It is bad. Obvious cheaters are not so bad. The subtle cheaters are the worst. One you immediately notice the other is trying to blend in.

Yeah I am getting obvious ones about every other game session. They were teleporting around and even out of bounds. Aura reading has been extremely helpful in finding their cheats. Also killer instinct. First game of the other day I came across another. Probably a new program thats gotten around. There are times where there arent many hackers and times where there are a lot. Seems now is where there are a lot. All we can do as the playerbase is properly report them. The in game report doesnt do much of anything. You need to send in a ticket, with proof like a video, of the hackers. The devs have always been quick to respond to the issue, at least for me. Been getting a lot of notices of "actions taken" against the hackers ive been reporting. Note tho that there are some people, mostly new, who think things that arent hacking that they are. Been a bit but had a few people say I was speed hacking as a killer when I was running Agitation and Play With Your Food. Also my favorite perk, Rancor, I get people saying I am hacking because I can mori them in end game when they wernt on death hook and I didnt bring in a mori.

At least one subtle speed/wall hack seems to be in just about every/every other game. Hard to provide objective numbers from the outside as a player. Survivors will use speedhacks on the edges of the map while directly out of view (aura revealed). Killers will use certain aura perks to clumsily obfuscate inexplicable map awareness, IE, reliably hitting hatchets away from gens on the other side of the map (aimbot), bee-lining to distant downed survivors with no blood trails, no Deerstalker, etc.
