Knock out
Im not a fan of the knock out change it just lost its identity and they should change the name of the perk.

I think having a slugging perk is fine but the blind was too much for solo queue so you could just remove the aura part make the recovery take more time and the perk would still had its identity.

Ps can you nerf unfun perk that survivor use because you seem to like that saying for the killer but never use it for the survivor side of things.

I mean if its any consolation, it will get nerfed/reworked again shortly after the update anyway. Slowing survivors by 5% when dropping and running from a pallet is going to go very poorly.
I do agree though, they should just remove the part of the perk that prevents other survivors seeing your aura, or make it timed to like 30 seconds.

knock out is perfectly fine the way it is, you can hear crawling survivors and when a killer downs someone you just need to hear the terror radius to find out where the person got downed

people who complain about knock out are usually people without basic game sense since thats literally its counter you just gotta listen for the terror radius and see where the killer just came from then go where they just left

Distortion and Wake Up! would like a word. Also Dead Hard and Decisive Strike. And many more I’m not thinking of ATM, I’m sure. They’re constantly nerfing survivor perks. Knockout as is it is nothing but a solo queue stomper and misery simulator. It deserves to lose its identity, IMO.

knockout and dissolution might have okay synergy

The issue with that is not about the nerf its about what reason they give for the nerf.

pain res, pop, grim embrace, deadlock
killer perks get nerfed too its not just survivor perks also knock out is a noob stomper not a solo queue stomper, the only thing that stomps a good solo queue player is bad sfw teammates

I dont think it will work well together because you still need to wait 3 sec before dissolution activate and you need the hit before the survivor make it to the drop pallet and they have a notification that say that the killer use dissolution.

Honestly i just want to see if knock out will have any synergy with dream pallet.

I hope that if i use knock out with brutal strengh i will be able to hit a survivor before he get to the next loop with an m1 killer.

Same.
Knock out change is great if you are a Clown main, im glad to get 1 more chase perk for my big man Kenneth
Agreed on the idea of changing its name. I'm not opposed to changing Knock Out's effects, I understand why Survivors find it annoying and it's a perk I've pretty much never used myself. But with its new effects... How does this relate to the idea of being knocked out? I guess it's like, the survivor is slower and thus being put into the dying state would be more painful that way? The effect itself seems interesting, but I think it'd be better suited for a completely new perk than a rework of an already-existing perk that currently does something completely different. It'd be like if they changed Distortion to block Killer Instinct instead of aura reveals, there's still some kind of logical connection but it doesn't really make that much sense.

This the devs giving killer an insane buff. Every pallet has just become weaker. Even god pallets. If one drops a pallet (pre drop or stun) and runs away they take a speed penalty so the killer easily catches up after a break. Nemesis becomes the new nurse with this. He can shred a pallet and be right back on the survivor who gets slowed running away.

it's new effect isn't even thematic to, well, a knockout
here's my take:

Knockout
Upon breaking a pallet, gain a token, up to 1/2/3.
Hitting a survivor will spend a token and disorient them, forcing them to swerve side-to-side for 4 seconds, as killers would when affected by Boil Over.

I agree that it's definitely no longer a mechanic connected to the name. It's a bit weird now, lol

There's a decent chance they'll remove slugging entirely. Even though they tried it before and most certainly did not work.
