This is a good point, people forget DBD is a competitive, PVP game. Or I guess just can't handle it
I don't want nor need an easy win. I just want to load into a match after a long day and have fun. It is not fun to have match after match of killers who do nothing but play subpar with camping, tunneling, and slugging. Isn't that why we play games, to relax and have fun???? If a killer would have a build, made smart plays, and was just down right better than me, I would be the first to say ggs and awesome game play. But that is not the case anymore.
I have never played an unfun game of DBD in over 27k hours since 2016 because I have a good attitude and enjoy the game. Nobody can control my attitude except me and you would *Never* catch me moaning or getting nasty if someone does some smart moves.
I appreciate player skill, the better they are the better their chance of giving me a challenge and the more fun they are.
And I am *thankful* when I get them in my lobbies because I know their expertise and their IQ would be wasted on someone who just isn't ready for it.
"Cast not thy pearls before swine less they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you."
Going next on hook being prevented is a good thing. I would rather not lose a game on the spot because the Meg got mad she went down in 10 seconds in the first chase of the game.
now hear me out
i want to play killer, and win, in the main game, not a "tournament" of made up rules not supported by BHVR?
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/139-game-rules
Over the past what 8 years? Survivors and killers have developed a made up a "rulebook" on what people can and can't do, Don't be one of those people to give into something that was simply made up by the community because no one should dictate what you can and can't do in a video game (that isn't breaking TOS or Guidelines)
If these types of killers are clearly giving you a bad time, then consider playing in a SWF or bringing some perks that will "up" your survival rate
(just remember the killer isn't there to be on your side, he is there to complete his objective and kill you (the survivor) and he is welcome to do so by any and all means)
What do you know another one that is part of the problem not a solution to the problem. I strongly feel that people with this type of mind set is missing something in their lives. Because normal people don't get enjoyment out of ruining someone else's day/game play. This is very sad and disheartening that people can't step back from being toxic and actually be human.
Genuine question with no ill intent, but are you new to the internet by any chance? this isn't exactly some shocking revelation that only exists exclusively and suddenly in DBD
Every online game with multiplayer has people like this
Another comment proving my point. Bless it!
If the devs make something happen that makes it harder for the Killer to camp, there will still be the... "smarter" Killers who figure a way around the fix.
It is unfortunately the way things are.
No sweetie I am not new to the internet nor the way most most gaming communities are. Here is the thing most communities are trying to do something about the toxicity in their games but not Behavior. I have been in the dbd community for years now and it hasn't been near as bad as it has in the past 2 to 3 years. With each update, new chapter release, and the game given away for free has increased the toxicity in the community. At the end of the day most of us just want to get on and have fun. Most of us are not about loading into a match just to be straight up toxic. In a earlier post I said that if a killer out smarts me and out plays me without the toxicity of camping, tunneling, and slugging just plan out skill I would be the first to say ggs and awesome gameplay. But that is not the case anymore.
