Connection issues are the usual Tuesday Steam Maintenance.

Happens every tuesday, sometimes additional maintenance on other days aswell.

Edit: Dbd twitter has now said they're having issues with matchmaking servers on all platforms, does seem to be possible to get into a game but even if you do you're still probably not getting anything for it because the post-game lobby can also fail to connect.

because there is no 'dead' hours somewhere around the world in another timezone is always a good dbd time for playing.

I'm on hook in a game right now, it's more likely just region specific issues than the entire game being down.

Edit: Game did timeout as soon as it got to the postgame lobby though and it didn't save BP or anything earned.

That's an awful lot of posts for just one region. I've seen Steam go down, when it does it says at the bottom center that it has no connection. Right now, there's no such message and everything else is launching and syncing without issue.
