Keyboard Inputs Bug

recently I've found a bug in dbd of which makes my inputs when using a keyboard randomly stop working, and it is incredibly annoying to deal with.

is anyone else having this same issue? its only been here since this chapter release.

a quick explanation of the bug:

holding W in a straight line, but at a random point on a dice roll, i will stop moving forward as if i have taken my finger off of the W key when i didn't

Hello, the same thing happens to me, but with the s key, suddenly it works and suddenly it doesn't, it happened to me a long time ago, since the Tomb Raider chapter if I'm not mistaken

yup, same for me. Welp im happy its not just me, i thought my keyboard was messing up and its not even a year old yet :')

I noticed it was DBD up to some funny business when my keyboard chatter blocker kept stacking up chatter tokens despite it never happening in other games and outside of gaming in general.

i am having a good experience with controller so far, so if you happen to have one, it might be a good alternative for now.

for everyone that comes across this discussion page with the same issue, i have found a solution that may work for you:

press the windows key + R to open the Run dialog.

then copy and paste this command;
%systemroot%\system32\msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic

click okay and follow the prompts that the tool gives you by clicking next.

this worked for me, it may work for you :)

I had a recent problem (in some games but not in all) with all skillchecks when my Spacebar randomly stopped to work. I thought it was broken...

yes, my keyboard inputs are terrible. game takes control of aswd for like ten steps and spacebar dont work sometimes. its unplayble. even bought a new keyboard and same issues.

Do you have Keyboard with Rapid Trigger? Maybe thats the reason.
I dont know why, but i have this issue with my Wooting 60He, but not with my 80He (same Settings).

no, my keyboard doesnt have rapid trigger as an option, it only started happening this patch. luckily i was able to fix it with the windows troubleshooter thing
