I get to Iridescent Grade on both sides without even using perks or addons and a killer that's B Tier at best.
In order to receive 1 Pip (pips you need to progress a Grade) you don't even have to kill a single person. You need 8 hooks, a couple of chases while using your power and kicking a few gens/pallets/doors.
I did it when grade was your rank and you could de-pip. Then it was hard to do.
Then just play and you get it when you get it. Thats how I got it. Never went after it intentionally.
You can't farm it as the ammount of pips is depended on the Embles you earn from the match and those decide if you get pip or two to increase your Grade. Most of them demand you to play the game hook survivors prevent them from fixing the gens too soon etc.
In order to get to Iridescent 1 you need a total of 75 pips.
That means you need to play 37.5 matches where you receive 2 pips. Round it up and it's 38 matches you have to play with top performance to reach the highest grade.
With an average of 15 minutes per match you're looking at over 9 hours of solid gameplay to get there.
That's without queue time provided you douple pip every time.
tbh idk if deranking is bannable but imo it shouldnt be, ig most people do it not to bully baby survivors/killers but because they dont wanna play against toxic sweats who treat this game like if being sacrificed = dying irl on instant.
I would look up a Killer Tier list by Otzdarva or another high profile content creator as they know what they are talking about.
The difference between high Tier and low Tier killers is how they handle Pallets and loops.
Ghostface for example has no anti-loop and he must play the pallet/window. This requires you to know the maps, what the survivors can and can't do as well as reading/predicting the survivor.
On the other hand you have Nurse, who completely ignores pallets and windows, but you have to learn how to do the blinks correctly. Hillbilly and Blight are also insanely strong because they can get around loops very quickly.
Wesker(Mastermind) and Nemesis are strong killers with a simple but strong power.
As for perks, you can find plenty of cookie cutter builds like PainRes/DMS Corrupt Intervention and Lethal Pursuer or whatever.
I recently tried Hostage Doctor that just banks on making skillchecks as impossible as you can. That can be surprisingly effective against low to mid tier players.
Listen I got like 1.5k hours across multiple accounts. I play a Perkless and Addonless Huntress and I 4k 80% of my matches without even trying.
I am having an extremely hard time believing that your matchups are always like this.
