HOT TOPIC: Who is the ACTUAL Best Killer in DBD???
Hey Everyone, everytime I see a Killer Tierlist, I always see Nurse as S-tier or someone else like Spirit. But in my opinion, they aren't as strong unless someone is a 5000 Hour Beast at playing them, but you can say that with pretty much any killer. Whenever kill rates come up, Nurse is always bottom, while "WEAKER" killers such as Pinhead, Lich and even Dredge come up as TOP 3, why is that a thing when they are "WEAKER"???

Well killrates only reflect the average. When people make tierlists they often go off of the potential of a killer. How good can a killer be? and the killer that CAN be the strongest will be on top. And those killers are nurse, blight, spirit and billy in my opinion.
Its true that your average nurse or your average blight is probably not as strong as an experienced wraith or pinhead player, but these killers dont have the potential that nurse or blight have

Your team mates, if you're solo-q >.>

But if you're looking at pickrates, you aren't going to get 'strength', because a lot of folk don't like back to back stomp fests, or some of the strong killers need a level of skill before you're not sucking wind, that people stick with lower skill-floor killers. Probably dozens of other reasons, too.

"why is that a thing when they are "WEAKER"???" because DBD has noobs and lots of them, including ones that talk about "win streaks" and billy or blight or spirit being good. Nurse is the best and it's no contest.

I think when it comes to "who's the best killer" it's more about the potential rather than the abilities. While blight, billy and spirit have great map pressure, they still need to obey to the rules of actual physics like walls and menachics like windows and pallets. The nurse however is playing a totally different game. The nurse doesn't have to deal with pallets, god loops or windows, she ignores walls and has great map pressure on top which automatically makes her the best killer in the game.

But as others mentioned before, not everyone plays her to her full potential luckily

Pinhead and Dredge are not weak at all. In the right hands, they can be absolutely lethal. Pinhead has a much higher learning curve than Dredge, but both have massive potential once you put the time into them.

If we place the best player with their respective killer, I believe the ranking would be:
1- Nurse
2- Blight
3- Billy
4- Spirit
Some spots might change depending on the meta, but overall, it should be like something close to this. Keep in mind that these killers tend to have a high skill ceiling, so the kill rates you're referring to might not be the most accurate, as they take into account all players, not just the absolute best.

It's Dwight of course

Easier killers perform better across all skill levels, whereas more difficult killers tend to have a higher skill ceiling but can be absolutely lethal in the right hands. That's why something like Wraith has such a high kill rate across all MMRs, but Huntress remains so low - despite being an absolute beast when someone who's good with her is playing her.

It's impossible to tell which killer is best. I can go on a ridiculous streak with Freddy by running the toxic totem crap.
