HOT TOPIC: Who is the ACTUAL Best Killer in DBD???
Hey Everyone, everytime I see a Killer Tierlist, I always see Nurse as S-tier or someone else like Spirit. But in my opinion, they aren't as strong unless someone is a 5000 Hour Beast at playing them, but you can say that with pretty much any killer. Whenever kill rates come up, Nurse is always bottom, while "WEAKER" killers such as Pinhead, Lich and even Dredge come up as TOP 3, why is that a thing when they are "WEAKER"???

Well killrates only reflect the average. When people make tierlists they often go off of the potential of a killer. How good can a killer be? and the killer that CAN be the strongest will be on top. And those killers are nurse, blight, spirit and billy in my opinion.
Its true that your average nurse or your average blight is probably not as strong as an experienced wraith or pinhead player, but these killers dont have the potential that nurse or blight have

I think you cant tell it. People are good in different things. Someone who is good in shooters will be better with range killers as an example

for me personal, I will probably never learn how to use the blight, I get motion sickness from his power.
The common take is that the Nurse is indeed strong for a certain individual managed to maintain a PERKLESS win-streak (WIN is if you get at least 3 kills) with her for about 650+ matches. And too many people learn this truth, try to harness her power, but fail to reach that level of consistency when they get at least 2 kills. So much for the stories of THE STRONGEST KILLER IN DBD. I know because I too fell for it in 2016 when she was even easier to play as.

I don't know who the best is. I can say my favorite is The Wraith to play. As survivor all I really see these days are Lich, Dracula, Ghostface, Huntress, Nurse. The other two comments summed up technical aspects.

I can't remember the last time I saw Twins, Plague, or Trickster.

CringeMaster if her bugs are actually fixed, Singu, Plague, Shape/GF (when stealth properly used), Billy, Nurse, Spirit if she use best addons, Dark Lord, Blight if he use best addons, Oni can be too, campy ranged killers
For me, it's a tie between Billy and Blight. Both can achieve the same amount of pressure of a great Nurse while also having to deal with loops, windows, pallets, walls, etc...

And you shouldn't look at Kill rates, really. Those don't take anything into account, just deaths. Three deaths One escape from Nurse is better than four deaths during EGC from Pinhead because the survivors were too altruistic. But according to those stats, Pinhead is technically "better" than Nurse.

Same reason why Skull Merchant had an absurdly high kill rate %. Her matches lasted a LONG time so she got more time to get more kills. And we see now that she doesn't have the time to spare anymore, she's very mid lol

Killrates do not mean anything, that comes clear when you see how many kills skull merchant has for how many people just straight up DC or give up against her. Even when bhvr claims they dont count DC towards killrates, there is a huge chunk of people that just stand there and point at skully so she hooks them, because they hate that killer so much.

On the other side of the coin you have doctor, who is the most to be abused by farming bot programs and so alot of people escape not because doctor is trash as a killer but more so because farming bots drag down his killrate.

Nurse can ignore pallets and vaults, the only 2 tools a survivor has to prolong a chase. That makes her the number 1. Also i feel like you cant look at killrates without looking at pickrates aswell, thats only half the picture there.
trapper duh
nurse overrated. if i'm being chased, i have no game plan, it's all random dumb movements. if i don't know what i'm doing, neither do they. works every time

A bit room temperature for a "Hot topic" It's always going to be Nurse or Blight until we get a third problem child. I'd lean towards Nurse since she has less counterplay than Blight.

blight or nurse is top kill rates dont mean ♥♥♥♥ as people will hook themselves cuz they dont like the killer
solely depends on the killer's amount of skill. Hillbilly could be the absolute best killer if he's been practicing his m2 for thousands of hours. Same with blight, or nurse, or spirit, or oni, or even wesker etc.

Wraith, the invisibility really makes a big difference. esp for new survivors.
I would argue it is Blight, as he currently has the highest combination of pick-rate and kill-rate. He is 3rd in kill-rate, and 5th in pick-rate. It indicates that he is easy enough that most players can do well with him, without needing a big learning period like Nurse does.
