I was just banned for 10 years..

I re-downloaded & got on DBD after not playing in a couple weeks and played 2 games of solo survivor. I escaped in the first game and died in the second. When I tried to queue up again, I got sent to the login screen and got told that I am banned for TEN years for "Exploits: Abusing Bugs or errors in design to gain a competitive advantage". What is this all about? I read somewhere online that some people have had this issue since the most recent update. Can someone fill me in on whats going on?

it seems to be a bug or something similar since it has happened several times since the patch. your best bet is to go through support

Do you use reshade? icon pack? any 3rd party app while the game is running? ever edited the config for 120fps, graphics quality or stretch-rez in the past?

its hard to pinpoint the real issue of these so called "false ban waves" this week, this keeps popping up everyday and no statement has been made

I doubt any of this matters as it seems like an issue with the report system itself. In-game bans rely on reports because BHVR does not monitor gameplay other than for statistics, and an EAC ban wouldn't give the message that the OP received.

I stream the game on Discord for my buddy and sometimes I record using geforce instant replay. my monitor is 60fps and i never stretch res before
I have an icon pack and have used reshade before. These aren't bannable offenses, Most fog whisperers use these lol

tbh support really wont do anything the devs only prioritize big streamers your best bet is to take it to the chin and make a new account and buy a hwid spoofer there avaible for linux and windows windows is easier due to more support. Thats what i had to do i was using a key sound maker, clicker noise sounder, and a msi afterburner frame capper so i know the feeling it sucks but oh well just get the hwid spoofer before making the new account

If that was the issue then people would be getting EAC bans since it involves third-party software. BHVR has said that they don't mind people using it, but also that they couldn't reverse bans if EAC flagged it as a cheat.

I remember that the Streamer Lilithomen got recently banned for no reason and got unbanned after contact with the Devs. Is it known if Lilith ever used custom Icons before? He at least hasn't used them in recent time it seems.
