After playing with the ghoul nerf
After playing with the ghoul i find most of the nerf to be fair and honestly i think they did a good job with the nerf.

I kinda hate the addon nerf because i think having a good addon in the brown rarity is good for the game but we dont all have the same vision with that.

The nerf that hurt the most in my opinion is losing your power for breaking a pallet. With the ghoul you get the down when the survivor is going to another loop but with that nerf you cant do that anymore so right now i realise that the ghoul anti loop is not that great compare to other killer and homestly that nerf alone make the ghoul kinda bad compare to other killer that will sound stupid but wesker way better then him now i would even say that pyramid head is way better cause of the anti loop he got.

Hey, thank you very much for taking the time to write out your thoughts! I'm glad to see you like most of the changes we've made to The Ghoul. I'll pass your feedback along to the team

Agreed, this alone nerfs him to the ground,at good tile versus good survivor you cant do anything

wow i didnt know BHVR ppl roam these forums, this place is a cesspool lol

but yeah Ghoul changes were very good, especially the pallet one like you said. If you can predrop and get out of M2 line-of-sight for their vault, you ACTUALLY get rewarded and extend the chase, instead of them just instantly re-closing the gap

The pallet change is bad it remove ghoul ability to down against good survivor. Right now as a survivor what you do is drop the pallet look if the ghoul play the pallet if he does he will need to bloodlust it because at that point hes a m1 killer with no real power. If the ghoul decide to break the pallet you can run to the next loop before he get there because his power will be on cd and even if he use his power to close the gap you should be able to make it to a window or pallet and you repeat this until the game is over.

oh wait wow youre arguing against that pallet change LOL

dude the first hit is FREE with no counterplay, its hitscan ffs. no sht the second one needs to be hard to achieve proper balance.

that like someone saying Legion should have an anti-loop power on top of his free injure. thank god forum normies aren't in charge of balance.

My few matches with the Ghoul nerf felt fine? My biggest issue is sometimes it feels a little shaky playing around the max range of his power. The icon makes it look like I can grab something, and then I can't and I get put in a little cooldown. That's kind of annoying.

I haven't had a survivor really try and exploit the power cooldown pallet nerf yet, so I can't really speak on that.

In my experience being on these forums the BHVR mods do pay attention, the DbD steam forums are probably some of the best moderated steam forums I've used, which is funny considering how DbD can be.

Yeah that's my gripe too with his power despite mobility based powers always being strong.
Because of the circular collision mesh of some objects or generally just angles, the range can show red for a bit while walking then white and you stall your power constantly and it feels absolutely terrible and clunky.
He already gets weird when going against objects that just stall him completely when he's suppose to slide before the last one is used. His grabbing of players should definitely be strict, but grabbing objects I feel need a little leeway at times.
