Overall thoughts on Blood Moon?
The gamemode is boring, barely different, and incredibly biased towards survivors. I think the Blood Generator mechanic is kinda neat but they just made it way too easy for it to be fair honestly. I also think it sucks because I actually really like the cosmetics for once

Survivors ask for different types of gens to do, they get different types of gens to do.

It's not even that, like I said the mechanic is neat, but they did it really poorly. Two survivors on a single blood gen will complete it in about half the time of two survivors completing a regular gen without any speed mods. Running with a gas can will literally not matter because of how the progress is spaced, unless you have a full can, and the killer leaves you after you lose all the blood. I've also not had any of the other can effects (leaking on ground or being easier to track survivors) come into play one time. Also not having perks/powers work on blood gens hinders killer much more than survivor

I enjoy it a lot more than I do Chaos, Lights Out, or 2v8, that's for sure, even if it isn't perfect.

Well the perk thing may be changed if the gens make it into main game.

other then the fact that it takes forever to find a match for killers, i think its fun, as both survivors and killers

the can only leaks while you're running, so if you walk or crouch towards the gens you wont loose blood. It basically forces you to play it sneaky. And when you do have the leak, it leaves splashes on the ground, but the visibility of them depends on the map you're playing, (that info is for playing without perks mostly) thats all i've noticed so far

how is it neat ? its just m1+ W + M1 mechanic instead of m1

they should replace it to "find item on map that spawn randomly and put it somewhere of map"
instead of this m1-press gameplay

Oh no I know, I always read event notes because I want to see the differences. But even with that, it's never really made a difference in my matches

To be fair the devs are always going to play the simple easy game with gens, which I only kinda understand. One of the things I liked about games like Last Year or Ft13 was the diversity and slight complexity to the escape mechanics. They felt unique and interesting. The issue with DbD, I feel, is that gens have become entirely so integral to the identity that they're not going to stray too far from the premise. I think it's neat we got a variation on the basic gen, because I doubt much else would come

What you just described is what they are making you do.
Look around the map for the pumps (Find an item on the map that spawns randomly) obtain the gas, and put it into the blood gens (Put it somewhere on the map).
You know what I'd LOVE for them to add? Skull Merchant's button combos into gens. I love the little mini-game for the drones, it isn't boring stare at a circle, it's we have to actually focus 200%.
I would prefer that, but, what you described, is pretty much what you're meant to do, find the pumps and transport blood to the gens.
There is the odd chance a pump spawns literally 2 meters away also, I had that on Dead Sands recently, it was literally beside the blood gen. So, sometimes you don't even have to walk across the map.
I came only back to play dbd thanks to Vittorios Event Cosmetic. Special his Head is in my opinion his best head by far. Sadly I have to wait for monday befor I can get it.
Literally only playing killer for the rewards (as I’ve only played recent iterations of CS & 2v8 for the rewards when they were offered). Would’ve enjoyed interacting with the new blood gens in solo queue, but still not remotely in the mood to deal with Ghoul.

But the only modifier I consistently enjoyed on both sides was Lights Out, so of course that’s the mode the devs have seemingly abandoned.
