Why are they trying to make killer queues longer.

They had some weird game design decisions lately ngl
Especially since Pentimento hasnt been a Problem for months. Also why does every good Hex reveal itself to Survivors now

Because survivors whine about totems being too hard to find.

BHVRs balance has become blatantly survivor sided lately. The best proof is the Blood Moon event: The event is heavily skewed in survivors favor because of how quickly survivors can fix the Blood Generators and the fact that Killer perks, powers and add-ons do not work on the Blood Generators.

I understand that Sometimes I played trials as a survivor solo, a few of teammates forgot to deal with totem they had cleansed, it was really annoying.
But 16 meter aura revealing is "mean". its not for balance. I almost can feel some kinds of "Revenge intention" of it
8m is minimum range I take it as a balance, 4m seems quite reasonable.
16 is a lot also if you add one of many hex reading perks, in this case we're talking about total nerfing of Pentimento, this perk is no more.

True. When thrill was bad and survivors were sufficiently pressed to deal with totems, they actually ran anti totem perks and cleaned them up in seconds. My normal totem builds caught so many strays from that I stopped using them until after thrill got fixed.

Honestly they might as well delete the perk. Part of the value is making survivors repeatedly run around the map and look for the new totem.

Hexes are not "high risk/high reward"; "they are high risk/low reward." The current version of Penti actually makes running a full hex build "ok."

The one thing I would say is that if they make hexes able to be turned on as long as there are any dull bones that would be "fine". But we all know they are not going to do that.

I agree, they may think Pentimento already has value for survivors wasting time to cleanse it.
like Old version of Hex : Ruin (survivors didn't run generators before they cleanse it)

Devs may not want hexes in popular build,

They don't play killer, that's why !
Ngl I hate the excuse dev keep bringing about ''It need to be easier for new player'' Why do they never apply the same logic to killer? Like an issue new player often face is when a experienced survivor with meta perk duo swf with a new player. You suddently have a experience survivor who can abuse strong perk on a clueless player and basicly solo win the match.

Like the double standard is strong with the dev team

the fate of Killer is that it keeps you searching for another resort again and again when the meta perk is dead...
