There's a community challenge. The further it's advanced the higher the bonus gets.

The bonus is based on how many players are playing each role. If there are too many killers, people who play survivor get bonus bp. If there are WAY too many killers, the bonus can go up to 100%, or 150% (I've never seen it above 150). The same goes the other way, before Ghoul was released I did occasionally have games where killer had a 50% bonus. It's just a system to attempt to incentivise the right ratio of Killers to Survivors in queues. It's a bit skewed atm because of all the people picking up Ghoul.
