Is it just me or the ghoul not eating at all?
So ive been playing the new killer the ghoul or as some of u may know him as weird anime dude and honetslyyyy i dont really get the hype ive been streaming it to my friends and they also dont really understand the hype. Yeahhhh i guess the scream thingy is cool and the claw hit feels satisfying but once survivors figure out how to pre drop and loop around pallets , he feels super inconsistent half of the time i feel like im playing a off brand wesker like a really worse and cheaper version (I MEAN HEY DLC COST 5 DOLLARS TFFF) ive gone back to wesker recently and honstly w all the nerfs he got he feels way more reliable. Ppl gotta stop saying the ghoul is op but its only cause hes so broing and survivors start to throw the game no skill required whatsoever. Not saying hes bad, but i feel like if we were gonna call him strong he nees some tweaks to give the game more pressure. Right now it feels okay after ptb but hes not a killer with no real threat ppast mm1s. Honestly at this point, spirit fury should just be basekit. pallet gameplay has gotten so stale, and killers like the ghoul are wayyyy too easy to bully if you dont run specific loadout. again not sayiong hes trash but if we are calling op at least buff him

yea hes really weak right now needs a few more tweaks and buff and it hink hed be good to go? honestly theres no saving weak killers like him its js like the skull merchant theyre just there to be called strong but it isnt true at all. its an excuse for ppl to look over the doctor which is literally uncounterable, after i hit t3 i cant even repair a generator? while i escape every ghoul matches
so don't play him?

If it's not bait which seems like it.

The reason he's so strong is because of how short his animation is after cancelling a leap. and how little distance you make which is basically not even a lap around a short loop, and thus unparalleled zoning ability. His ability to bodyblock your loop if playing correctly is very powerful, and he's insane vault pallet speed in enraged mode means he has a very potent anti-loop ability in most cases. Which is okay by itself.

But combining this with the most mobile killer ever on most maps that gets free hit on anyone on sight and is playing against a full team of injured survivors. And welp here you go, a distaster to play against.

thank u for considering this as bait but this is my honest input and he is not strong og blight can outrun him like i said plalet gameplay is stiff af and hes good on every map when i go against him its a free win

Thats fair but at the same time, maybe if a killer nees asurvivor to play badly to feel strong hes just not goood? Ppl said the same thing abt knight when he dropped and look how that turned out. Just cus sum is hard to counter week one doesnt mean op..its just a gimmicky society gave us and no ones bored enough yet to break it down.. honestly if he was actuallys trong we would see comp players swap blight and nurse for him but theyre not

Go to YT and look for a video called : Rize Makes Kaneki So Much Better.

You'll find a video of Hens playing the new killer. By what you have written it is clear that you do not understand how to play the killer at full potential.

Imagine for example if you played Legion and could run up to a survivor in your power and then cancel your power and immediately swing with no stun or cooldown. The Ghoul can do this but you probably dont know how to do it.

Actually that's the wrong comparison. Imagine playing Blight and you zoom around the map and find survivors, get right next to them and then M1 them without needing to attack with your power or without getting stunned or slowed. That's a better description of what it is like to play against the Ghoul in the hands of a pro player.

Comp players have already said the Ghoul is easily an S tier killer.

I don't know about the YT videos

But about comp players I have seen the results he gets in scrims and the recent v1v4 Petroleum vs Cynic it's closer to blight in term of results than spirit (and maybe billy if the billy pop off since it's such an explosive killer).
