Nevertheless, this game isn't Rainbow Six, Overwatch, or Rivals.
The only things that changed, which might cause confusion, are the lobby screen and the killer's intro.
As far as I know, they didn’t really touch the map variety directly. (Only eryie recently)
However, the offering system is about to change, instead of guaranteeing a specific map, offerings will soon give only a 20% chance for that map to be selected.
So that might affect how often we see certain maps.
To be honest, I haven’t really paid much attention to the variations of some of those maps, but I’ll keep an eye out thanks for the info!
(And between us, when it comes to Badham Preschool, that’s probably for the best.)

Dead Sands would like to disagree
Actually, that just confirms what we were saying.
Dead Sands isn’t a fully new map. It’s a variation within the Forsaken Boneyard realm, the same one as Eyrie of Crows. So technically, it’s a rework or an expansion of existing content, not a brand-new map as the original post implied.
