They probably just know their checkspots very well. Wallhackers are uncommon.

not to deny this, but remember some killers give audio cues and some checkpoints look like wallhacks. sometimes it looks like wallhacks because you dont have their pov

you misunderstand. the aura reading perks are there for the hackers to gaslight you into thinking they are not hacking.

Makes me wonder. I have been using the Sable basement healing perk and I randomly have killers come down to the basement at the worst possible time and not have any sort of aura reading at all.

well their anticheat doesn't work, the only way to ban a wallhacker is a mass report but as many of you are saying it's hard to be 100% sure if someone is wallhacking, but i assure you the cheats are cheap and unnoticeable, unless you start flying around the map

Thanks lol but I just had it happen vs. a Freddy and he just hooked somebody far away, so it seems unlikely he heard me. I didn't even know Freddy could teleport to basement now though, so maybe he just was going to do that anyway and was a coincidence.

He teleported to you not the basement. Don't heal when you are in the dream world as Freddy can teleport to you if you do.

Was there a gen nearby? Maybe he teleported there and just so happened to find you?
I can't say for sure if it was lucky, or they truly do use hacks, but there is always the odd possibility chance just doesn't come in your favor.
I had a match where I was pretty sure I was dead. I tried to get to the shack where the basement was, to get hooked there (Using Wicked, also using Strength In Shadows), but, just so happened, the hatch spawned LITERALLY under me.
I was Taurie, so maybe the Entity favoured me.
Hope your trial(s) go better, and keep riding those unique builds (Seriously, gimme Strength In Shadows over Self Care any day).
