Is 'Don't Be Scared' rift challenge bugged?

I'm having issues with the game registering the 'Don't be Scared' Sprint out of an Instant Snowman challenge registering, done it multiple times as both killer and survivor with no success it seems.

[R-Theme]

Assemble a snowman, activate it, wait until activate/deactivate ability fully recharge, then abandon a snowman. For me it worked like this. However it counted only my 4-th snowman

Seems like this event is a bit buggy, been noticing that snowballs on snowmen only count for survivor when they're healthy.
