Why do people teabag?
I've never understood this. Every game people teabag at the exit gates. Teabagging is the DBD equivilent of punching a random person on the street. They did nothing to you. Why take out your anger from somebody else onto somebody who did nothing. And it's just wasting time. Can somebody explain why people do this?

Unfortunately some people just want to cause pain and misery.

Watch survivors communicate with each other. Its not uncommon for one survivor to "teabag" the other after being healed to say thank you. I have known people who do a quick 2 bag at the gate to say thankyou for the match to the killer. If they aren't spamming it, it's not worthing getting into a tizzy over.

Some people are simply toxic though, like killers who try and slug at 5 gens or ones that stand on/walk on the downed body refusing to pick them up. Games like this will always have those people in it.

We can't always give you a handwritten note that says ggs. If it's mid-chase yeah assume what ya want but sometimes a "teabag" is just communicating thanks or ggs. Or they're just being goofy.

But if it was a harsh game for them then yeah they're trying to say it sucked.

This might just be me, but if I repeatedly crouch at the exit facing towards the killer then im not teabagging. Im saying thank you, youre cool, whatever positive message. I allow crossplay and play on pc. I dont know what system killer is on until I leave the match. Even once you leave the match, if the killer/any player is on console they cant text to people on pc at all or read what I text post match. If im repeatedly crouching with my back towards the killer than its teabagging. Theres crossplay, but there is not cross communication.

And yes as Boon: Mori Christmas pointed out that is how survivors communicate with each other particularly if they are solo queing and not in a swf group with voice. If someone unhooks me I crouch saying thank you. If I heal someone and they crouch thanking me, I sometimes crouch back saying youre welcome depending on how much pressure the killer is putting on us.

it is the ctrl key so you "duck" it looks like you do a teabag in your glass and move it up and down.
doing this 100 times a second is toxic as hell. but normally onetime or twotimes means thanks under survs after being healed or rescued.

but never do this as fast as possible in the exit while the killer watches, its just toxic
