Games creativity is dead until they fixed this horrid gen rushing issue.
the game will put you against sweats regardless
Gens can fly fast, especially if survivors are doing their objective and have brought perks and items to help them, but you can hardly blame them for doing what they need to do, any more than survivors should be whining about killers killing them by any strategy, including tunneling and camping.
I don't always use gen perks - I often run no-gen perk builds on weak killers like Trapper and Freddy so I understand. However, the best thing you can do is get better at the meta game, such as anticipating which gens will get done first based on common survivor spawns, and bring other perks which help, such as information perks (aura-reading or perks like Discordance and Tinkerer). Know when to drop chase. And be ok with losing. It can be frustrating but the best thing to do is to focus on how you play and get better at learning maps, using your power better, anticipating survivor movement in chases, etc.
I do think it is not the perks which make them go slow or fast but players who can read the situation well (and yes if you are a sweaty SWF this is easy as pie)
Maps are getting smaller and smaller so any killer with a good movement ability can get from A to B really quickly and pressure gens.
This is why balancing is difficult.
Do you balance the game for weaker killers to have better stats and risk making strong ones even stronger?
Do you balance the game for solo survivors risking SWF to become even stronger?
Hard to decide IMHO
But solo survivor is not an issue like I go solo survivor and I can get multiple gens done even escape most of the matches as well its just when you start reaching a certain point with the MMR system is when it gets literally gets miserable for solo survivors thats why im saying get rid of the MMR and just let it fly.
Cause killers are only OP due to novelty the more you know and understand certain quirks of killers it gets easy like dredge you literally just lock every locker or singularity you just use EMP and he and dredge are just glorified M1 killers.
The biggest foe of the survivor is his fellow survivors.
Same. There have literally been matches where the killer was very bad/AFK and the only reason the team got out was because I (sometimes with no gen perks, and very often with no toolbox) did 4-5 of the gens myself. Then there are the matches where I get chased first, manage to loop the killer for a decent amount of time before going down and see zero progress done on gens. At that point, I just wanna go next.
I slug because I enjoy it.
We are not the same.
