I hate flashlights.
I almost want to just quit out of a match if people are using them. Makes it so not fun to be the hunter.

Only guy I have that is immune so far is Billy. Do any other killers have it?

That's because of said perk.

You can use the billy perk on any killer you want, if you level him up to prestige 1.

Another solution is to just look at a wall. You just need to be aware of your surroundings.

Flashlights were less annoying before Background Player existed, and then got buffed.
Can't wait til they come out with a perk that does the aiming for you too...

The flashlight still requires that the survivor not repair the gen and follow you, so you don’t lose much, and don’t forget to look around

If the player(s) stalking is/are effective, all that matters is that they have 1 person repairing gens on the opposite side of the map, and they'll get the win eventually.

If you are letting them flashlight save, thats a you problem. If you suspect someone is around, pretend to pick up, then turn around and hit them instead.

With background player, they can mostly wait until they see the actual animation before getting close enough, though.

Also, I didn't say there was no counter-play for flashlights...I just said that it is possible for the teams that have designated "stalkers" to be effective. Killer spends so much time fighting for every hook that the gens can get done.

Most effective counter play to flashlights are to 1. Face a wall or tree or some other vision blocking bit of the map so that they can't get an angle on you. 2. Look up or down IMMEDIATELY so that they don't get it in your camera (eyes) since most players are not skilled enough to get you right off the bat.

There you go. :theskull: Have fun

The lobby is the easiest way to see what the survivor is equipping and knowing who has what. Seeing 3+ players with flashlight might be worth taking lightborn. Once you hit iri grade you should already be experienced enough to no longer rely on lightborn also the more survivors running around playing "chase me" with flashlights are less survivors on generators.

Picking up downed survivors well if you've previously seen someone carrying a flashlight then proxy search around the downed survivor or stand on top of survivor acting as if you're about to pick them up and wait to see if someone gets in front of you, just listen for footsteps. Downed survivors near a wall are the best way to pick them up just by looking at the wall. For traveling towards hooks against flashlights just walk backwards sometimes you'll get unlucky because you wont see the sabo then just drop the survivor and get someone else.

Slug survivors if you feel that a flashlighter is hiding nearby I do this if it's a unsafe pick-up, either proxy search for other survivors or just move to continue gen pressure.

Pallet drops for whatever reason the majority of survivors I've come across are inexperienced and will pre-drop pallets and when they're typically holding a flashlight they will go for a blind. All you need to do is walk backwards through the pallet or flick your mouse near the pallet before the drop. It's better to take the blind when kicking safe pallets. (Safe pallets is another topic)

Blastmine, not sure if it's bugged but lightborn doesn't work on this as I always get blinded by it, I prefer perks that block generators because it's so common

Flashbang is also pretty common but you can hear the drop animation giving you enough time to look away

Hope this helps
