New map.

So the new map. Its not the Houndmaster map right? I think its a tease to what comes next.
The houndmaster cutscene shows here in some dark forest or something. This new map. This arctic base with corpses torn apart does not really fit her.

Next chapter The Thing?

This came with her in the PTB just wasn't included in the full chapter release. But it is the new (latest) map added to DbD. I find it great.

that would be awesome! imagine a killer who could take the form of other survivors. besides froms swf's there would be a lot of jumpscrares

The new map is cool and yeah gaves me The Thing vibes. Also, if you saw the new man menu you saw what sorta map should suits the new chapter.

Don't know what to think about it. But I think something like a spy who can transform into other survivors is somehow missing.

On the other hand, some YouTubers have run through the possibilities of what killers are likely to be.

Someone said Slender or Jason were possible.

another said Predator or Slender were possible.

And then we have the fact that the next killer appears without a new map and I think that would support your theory again.

It just occurred to me that the new map could very well apply to the Predator.

Check out the movie, Aliens vs Predator. There the predators appear on the surface for the very first time, in Antarctica.

Deep beneath the ice, there was a pyramid.

The base that stood there was at the icy South Pole.

The Houndmaster's perk could also be a reference to the Predator.
All-Shaking Thunder:

After falling from a height, All-Shaking Thunder activates for 8/12/16 seconds:

Increases the range of your Lunge Attack by +75 %.
All-Shaking Thunder has a cool-down of 5 seconds.

Everyone who is familiar with the Predator knows that it can jump particularly high.
This addresses the height from which you can fall to activate the perk.

I'd go out on a limb and say that the evidence that the next killer could be the Predator is increasing.
