is chucky still worth buying after the nerf

felt like getting chucky today but i saw people comparing him to skull merchant after the most recent nerf should i still cop?

I don’t have Chucky (at least not yet), but I think if you like the character a lot, you should still buy him (or wait for a sale which might come sometime soon-ish since he’s been out for awhile now). I bought Skull Merchant with shards post-hard nerf and I enjoy playing her. I’ve even gotten unintentional 4ks playing her.

Chucky is my favorite killer. before and after the adjustments. after the adjustments it isn't as fun as it used to.

i watched Child's play and he seems fun to play imo i just dunno if i should get it rn since it seems he's becoming worse and worse

If you like Wesker then I say Chucky is worth a try. He's definitely a lot worse now and feels worse to play but he's not terrible and Friends til the end is honestly such a fun perk that I would say he's worth buying just for that.

i got him and i have to agree, his slice n dice feels nerfed quite a bit he's however really fun to play, mindgaming survivors is so easy since he's really short and i only had problems with loopers around shack and actually good survivors

The chuckster is one of my faves. You can mess around w/ unforeseen and be pretty much perma stealth the whole game. Vault speed build is fun too, they don't have enough time to loop shack, so you just get a free hit with power. It just looks silly when hopping over at 80% faster speed

I was so excited for Chucky and instantly bought the Tiffany skin. I can't bring myself to play him after all the nerfs. I genuinely feel like he was better at release in every way and way more fun/interesting. So I would say no.

Scamper became a useless mechanic. Keeping it apart from the main power gave it use. Now you have to be in a dash, scamper and pray the survivor does not turn at all. Also this makes a few of his addons not worth using. Now if you see Chucky or Tiff it is a joke.

It’s super quick now and resets your slice and dice duration which is basically 2 seconds long so you have to be creative with it

I'd say no. I love Chucky, the character, but he is weak as hell when you're actually trying to play without tunneling/slugging/camping.
