The First challenge of Bone Chill Tome not tracking?

The very first challenge, Unwanted Guest, where you have to destroy one snowman with snowskull. Is it me or is it not tracking? I have used many snowballs and even ranged killer, but it does not seem to track

i hit about 7 snowmen with snowballs before it counted, my husband had to hit 2. It seems very random whether it will work or not, seems on brand for behaviour.

Also make sure its not the moving ones, those arent "decoys" i dont think.

its the snowman that stands still and jumpscares you if you get too close. description isn't very clear about it.

Tip for this challenge: make a portable snowman at the snowskull pile. Get inside it and then leave it again, it will leave behind a decoy. Throw that one with a snowball. Or find the ones that don't walk around and hit them.

An event made by BHVR bugged?! so incredibly shocked.....

I'm seeing the same thing too folks.... regardless its moving or not, using a ranged killer or a survivor, its a no go

I don't think it's bugged, it just has to be a decoy and those are the ones that scream and explode. I think you can even hit it while it's doing that.

Like i said before... hit both the ones moving and the ones not
But just managed to complete it with the only difference being I took a mistletoe offering in.... whether or not that has anything to do with it triggering I couldnt say but try that if you get stuck

gang its not bugged! you have to hit a DECOY snowman, which is the ones that jumpscare you. if you hit a non-decoy snowman, you will know because you will get the "Nice Try!" score event for Bone Chill. The Decoy snowmen stand still! 👍
