How is Chucky now?
His Dash was heavily nerfed Speed-wise but he has higher Duration basicly. Any Chucky Main here who can share his Experiences with this Nerf?

From what I have seen, The cool down hurts the most. The speed nerf + the slice and dice duration buff makes its slower, but you travel the same distance.

I think it would not be insane to suggest he should be a 115 killer now.

good, only hidey-ho power cooldown is critical

Anyone have any suggestions for perks? I have a hard time catching up to survivors even with bloodlust. Yes I feel so much slower and because of that I have to get really close to m1 otherwise I will miss. I could do lunge attacks but that would just slow the recovery time for another attack. I relied on his power a lot. He is nerfed a little but it makes a big difference for me.

The cool down already felt bad at twelve seconds and fourteen seconds can feel like forever. The movement speed decrease is bad but personally I am going to have to spend more then a couple of games with it before I can say just how bad it is, having to retest what I can and can not hit now will take some effort. The only upside that I can think of is the two Chucky players running late game portable tv builds since that will cause slice to go up to ~three seconds up from ~two. Overall highly noticeable nerfs but I feel like they'll shake out with him being considered around mid, low frame and third person can still be strong even more so against mid and lower survivors.
I don't think he's much weaker than before, he's still easily a top tier killer, he's still effectively a 115% killer on small loops with his tiny collision and his Slice and Dice is still twice as fast as survivors' speed so hits are still easy to get. The speed decrease is insanely noticeable though and it feels like he's running in mud, basically tanking the only appeal left for Chucky for me which is going fast. BHVR made him slower because they thought it would make it easier for survivors to react to his power but I haven't really seen this come into play at all, survivors still loop exactly as they would if he still moved 10m/s during a dash. The cool down also hurts but is definitely needed and should stay, actual punishment for missing a dash is something Chucky desperately needs and will reward smart use of S&D rather than just spamming it until he gets a down.

Overall, these nerfs are horrible and made me temporarily quit playing Chucky. Unfortunately though, I don't think behavior will revert these nerfs mainly because they have no idea how to make Chucky fun while also making him interactive for survivors so they're nerfing him over and over again, making him weaker so his pick rate drops, ironically making him neither fun nor interactive. The Chucky hate train is still going to go strong, and the nerfs will keep coming similar to what happened with Skull Merchant.

Play with your Food for the speed boost is nice, almost makes it feel like how slice and dice was before. You could also try his own perk Batteries Included, it's not the greatest but in my experience I've gotten a surprising amount of value from it! Even with these perks Chucky feels WAAAAAY too clunky and slow now to me though so I'm not sure if there's much you can do to remedy it.

He does feel worse overall, but itll never feel as bad as losing scamper

fr let him scamper outside of slice and dice again, but make it end hidey ho mode just like slice and dice would

Okay, let's say, but what penalty will the hard hat give after breaking the pallet, or will there be none? In theory, if devs returned the scamper to him, it would be possible to make the animation longer and, for example, a penalty for each use of scamper in the amount of 25-30% of hidey-ho mode and the inability to use scamper again within 1-2 seconds.

He is fine now, no longer stronger than Spirit, both are the same now, don't forget that his instane m2 speed allowed him to counter Sprint with Lithe easily, now we can at least use them while he is on stealth

I like how a change from 10ms to 8ms is considered a "Heave nerf" Meanwhile one of the only surv anti aura perks distortion got nerfed into the ground and left for dead. Killers complained about weave and that got IMMEDIATELY reverted back to 12. Meanwhile thrill got a 2% revert which is not noticeable. We are not the same

Exactly, killers as always get buffs and reworks, they just need to create a suggestion on their site and if some survivor there starts to complain, they are immediately suppressed from all sides trying to prove that they are right and the buff is 100% needed, but when survivors ask for something, it takes years to implement, for example slugging/camping/tunneling is still not fixed and no one listen to survivors there...
