Good luck, I doubt a 4090 could run this at 160+fps, just that bad in terms of performance

There's a way to turn off v-sync in the ini file, also you don't NEED 240 frames brother, anything above 80 or 90 is fine ya frame spoiled dork.

You can make changes to ini files to change get fps to 100, just search in the discussion for fps unlock

This update removed the ability to get above 60, ive changed my ini files and its still stuck at 60. Seems like a bug or an intentional removal

%appdata% - Local - dead by daylight - saved - config - WindowsClient - Engine - Change these or add these settings for 120 fps cap, save file and set to read only.

[/script/engine.engine]
bSmoothFrameRate=false
MinSmoothedFrameRate=5
MaxSmoothedFrameRate=120

The game is capped at 120 frames for PC.

I changed my settings and now have 120fps again. Make sure to change the file to read only...

What do you need more than 120 fps for, your eyes literally can't see more than that. Science.

I had this issue too, but I copied my "windows no editor" folder files into "windows client". It put everything back in order

I haven't touched my GameUserSettings file since the update and even my game is capped at 60 FPS. Do I have to deleted it and re-add my settings?

I'm from the future and let me tell you there's still no 240fps in 2033...

Nah you just have to go in the change the ini file from read only re-edit the ini file and and the save and put back to read only

I have a 4070ti and I play at 4K 120fps with 50% GPU usage, so I think a 4090 could easily do 240fps

God this is annoying.

You don't need nor should you ever set read-only on ini files.
