Dropping sbmm rank probably
Yeah when you have low MMR you run into those types constantly as well as the ones that are semi-afk and just running in circles or swinging constantly at nothing via a macro script.

Because some losers with a hurt ego need to dump on beginners to feel powerful and try to drop their mmr this way.

Most are there for rule breaking and illegal activities.

Occasionally someone is just doing a challenge where they can't move until certain conditions are met. Just for fun. Most often the condition is all five generators have to be repaired before they can attack a survivor.

I was lucky if I saw this a couple times a month... then yesterday i saw it 3 times.. so strange. But I also saw survs doing the same thing and getting crows where they spawned. Strange day yesterday

There are killers out there who cant handle the higher ranks, instead of getting better and or learning from their mistakes they tend to drop their "MMR" and face more easy opponents.

Creating new accounts and purposely lowering rank or MMR to face lower-skilled players has become very common in a lot of multiplayer games. Games like CSGO and other FPS shooters have an even worse issue regarding smurfing.

In 3 weeks I had one Killer DCing. However, sometimes the match starts, I go around patrolling gens and I find a Surv just standing there. I hit (to check if that they are AFK) and the Survs immediately go away REALLY fast, and they start playing for real. Dunno if it is a lag problem or if some Survs like to drink a beer before the trial.

During my playtime in the evening hours it seems like there is a high chance of AFK survivors. As a new player to the game it really bums me out to sit in a 10 minute survivor queue to be greeted by 1-2 AFK survivors. Have played mostly killer due to the shortage at my preferred play time, but trying to have a doable survivor game is nigh impossible and just frustrating. Just left a game with 2 AFK survivors and I get dinged for it by the matchmaker.

They don't care about mmr, they just want to farm iridescent shards.

1. to let other people farm free bloodpoints & to let them complete their daily quests, challenges, and achievements without any problems

2. to lower their matchmaking ratio, so they can finish their 3-4 daily quests faster, because they didnt play much dbd in the last days. or because at higher mmr you just get toxic swf cheating with voicechat, who are camping you 24/7 with flashlights and teabag / mock you.

3. farming EXP / iri shards

maybe there are other reasons

btw. i have also met swf with very new accounts (low prestige on basic characters) who played like pro gamers. and were smurfing. not only killers do that.
