Tombstone myers
Just had a match with a Myers that used a tombstone piece and memorial. Without hitting anyone once (not a single hook) and in mere moments of the game, this guy had Evil Within 3 multiple times and slaughtered everyone. The match lasted all of about 4 minutes before everyone was executed.

I recall tombstone piece making Evil Within 3 painfully slow to achieve. Yet this guy did it as fast as a regular myers and killed people without ever having to hit, let alone hook them.
Have these addons always worked like this? This build seems beyond broken to me, as if the guy was hacking. How have I never heard of the extreme effectivity of this build before?

No he didn't. He got to stalk a single survivor, on his way to the second survivor he immediately got the execute off. He got it within 2 minutes. His second Tier 3 came about 30 seconds after, where he immediately executed a second.

honestly I see no problem with that, you guys probably just fed him too much. And getting Tier 3 with a tombstone piece is not "that" hard actually, especially with the memorial addon.

Nah I don't think it is. Don't let him stalk you and he needs to be really close to grab you. If a Michael pulls this off I applaud him.

Survivors simply fed him, that's all. You can avoid the Mori by going into locker if you have even slightest doubt about add-ons he has.

I've played this game a fair bit, went against a bunch of weird builds, but this one takes the cake. And I don't understand people are saying this is totally fine. This is seemingly stronger than the old Iri hatchet Huntress with Mori. No requirement for hooking, not even a requirement to hit someone. Get a T3 at the same speed as you would with a normal meyer, and instakill somebody.

For the ones who think this is totally fine, how does this equate to seemingly 'op' builds that require a lot more work than this does? They just patched piercing/shattering knives on Trickster, a build that required chase, 3 hooks, and aim. How is it OK for them to patch that, but having a killer that can instakill anyone within 4 minutes, without the need for hits or hooks, is totally fine?

Because it has far more limitations to it. Just charging t3 takes ages against decent survivors. Those charges are also limited during the game, once person is out of Evil Within you can never stalk points from them. Also when you stalk to t3 with memorial and tombstone piece it's not same as base Myers. It takes about 2 people worth stalking fully with those add-ons for t3 and even with the speed bonus from memorial it's still slower also than base Myers. After which you are still m1 killer which has basically same limitations as other killers except for slightly longer lunge and vault so straight up W denies you hard and then there is looping. On top of that you can completely deny the special Mori kill by going into locker as it's not like normal Moris that you can use on floor.

2 people worth of stalking makes me wonder how he was able to chain them together in such insanely short periods of time then. Two executions happened literally in a span of 30 seconds of eachother.

Only the first t3 takes 2 peoples worth stalking roughly and it's because of the tombstone, future t3s cost the normal amount. You can read the add-ons and calculate the exact amounts from wiki if you're interested in them. I can tell you that Myers is generally considered to be among the of worst killers in the game and straight up worse version of Ghostface for good reason. It just takes too long to charge EW for killer that you can see miles away. He has some of funniest add-ons, but in terms of being actually effective not so much.

Just don't feed Mikey. Hide behind objects to break his line of sight. I usually run Fragrant Tuft of Hair and J. Memorials. I also run Corrupt Intervention to help me build up. Hide mostly behind solid objects because even a little sliver of you sticking out will count towards his leveling up Evil Within. Remember Mikey can only go so far with stalking one survivor. He needs multiple. Play it safe and run Spine Chill just in case its a stealth killer and always be on the lookout for his level up music to know its him. Mikey can be beatable. Its a matter of positioning. The scarier Mikey's are the ones that run Scratched Mirrors on like Small Game Map or Hawkins. Even a Mikey who runs Tinkerer can still scare the crap out of you. Just be mindful of your surroundings. Always keep your head on a swivel.

yeh but getting it within a minute is still insane. i was in that match too (we play together) and trust me, we highy doubt it was legit. just watch any pro myers video and its nowhere near close what this dude did.

I mean if a Myers manages to stab an entire team I'll clap my hands and admit defeat....the bastard didn't die in a burning basement and he's about to make a comeback, behavior is too scared to nerf his ass because they know his potential

All hail MyErS!

Doesn’t matter if no one asked. He needed help with Myers so I gave him tips. No need to snap on me about offering guidance. This is what these boards are for is to help each other.

Going back to J. Memorials it speeds up stalking so that makes sense. After he kills with Tombstone then it resets to Evil Within 2. If any survivors were around he could of started stalking again and gotten it back up again.

All I can say it's doable. I've seen double iri Mike get online in 2 minutes despite never having even seen killer during that match(normally this gets online around time exit gates are open as it's sucking 3 people dry so I assume they thought he was farming or something). Sometimes people are just AFK or straight up potatoes. Even worse I've seen people t-bag Mikey at pallet just feed him the EW. Mikey punishes hardcore if your team has potatoes who don't understand or care how his power works. Always nice feeling when you first see Myers and he has 99'd his power:sacrificed:
