-Drop the item when you are going to get hit, keep the chase and when you can, go back for you object
-"♥♥♥♥ dude thig huy has franklin can you pick my flashligth for me? i lost it on the jungle gym".
-Getting hit and spam te pick up button and do the crouch tech on the killer so he wont see you bc you are literally fusioned with him until he moves.
-For keys, is not a secret if someone bring a key it also on most cases bring an offer for hatch, if he want to escape trougth the hatch he will leave the key on some spot nearby when they know theres franklin.
And last but not least. You still use franklin´s, nice! you represent that 1% (or even less) who still using it on 2021, not a considerably part of the people who use BBQ&Chilli to track survivors when they hook someone or use corrupt to make the match a little bit more longer or do the 3 gen strategy. And ligthborn? Seriously? Did someone still use that perk too? My last ligthborn guy i found was on rank 18, is really rare to see ligthborn on higher ranks bc the killer will take a quick look before he pick up someone.
use frankling against SWF is pointless knowing they communicate each other, ligthborn probably is worth it. But if the SWF want to escape trougth the hatch the killer cant avoid it at all. I mean, one dude or 2, even if is the key guy in some moment they will go for the key you will try to catch the guy with the key and the other survivor will be waiting on the hatch spot and they will escape. You camp the key, survivors open the exit and they escape, or they do the door strategy, they make it to the first ligth, go back for the key and escape or 1 escape trougth the door and the other one in hatch. What really make a difference is your skill not a perk. Is pointless belive the perk will avoid SWF or any other survivor escaping without his key. And is really rare see a solo queue where someone use a key.
franklin wont change about the keys (in fact it never did) most players alredy know how to evade the franklins and again SWF had communication so "dude pick up my key before it disappear, the killer hit me on..." and key is safe, plus you dont notice bc you where chasing-tunneling that guy while now you dont know what survivor has the key now. is pointless.
i mean you could also just not let survivors do gens, keep pressure on them, then its random as to where the hatch spawns and they wont know exactly where it is, then the key wont matter 9 times outta 10, and the old franklins was kinda bs cuz killers would camp over people knowing theyd come back before their item disappeared, but here's a question, why is there no counter to franklins like there are counters to other perks? i guess one could argue plunderers is a counter since you can see the item, but not a direct counter like stridor is to iron will, or im all ears to quick and quiet, but please, continue crying about how killers get shafted by keys, you guys had it great when you could insta mori, the only reason people insta popped gens is because insta moris were a thing and didnt know if it would be played or not, so be "toxic" before the other side is "toxic" i guess
I mean, just drop it and come back grab it later if it's a medkit. If it's a toolbox, use it asap. If it's a key drop it in the shack or in a map corner, etc...
Idk why they complain about this, again since 2018 i didnt saw killers using it. And even if they do, How hard is pick up the key and drop it on a safe place to pick it up later? How hard can be for SWF to say "Dude pick up my key i drop it near the TL wall". Even on solo queue was common see someone picking up your flashlight/medkit/toolbox and dropping it when they unhook you, or just piking it up and droping it on the same spot, or they even using it. If another survivor use the item someone else lost by franklin i can say franklin didint make his porpuse. And sometimes even franklin allow to make the killer outplayed. I saw many times back to 2018 how a survivor pick up the flashligth dropped by a franklin and literally 15 secs later making a flashligth save for the survivor who lost his flashligth (And after that the killer in most cases will RQ). I belive they exagering with this. If franklin destroy the item after 15/20 or even 30 secs i would agree this is a nerf but this dosent change anything at all. If they nerf BBQ&Chilli i probably understand the problem. That skill is like the "Object of obsession" for the killer. And i belive they probably are going to do something with that perks bc the nemesis had a new traking and probably really strong perk to find survivors on the begining and instead of nerfing the new killer perk they will prefer to nerf an older killer perk and probably buff even more the new killer. Knowing where all the survivors are on the begining and adding the BBQ&chilli to that will make a "no place to hide" build, you put down your first survivor with the new perk and with BBQ&Chili you find the next one.
Im not saying i want a nerf for BBQ&Chilli. Is a really good perk, im a regular killer but since i use that perk now i had at least 2 secured kills on the match.
i mean thats what i already do, cuz killers are generally braindead (some survivors as well that dont know not to pop a 99 gen or door)
Do you have prove of this, or is it an assumption?
Sounds like they easily could've, but were too lazy so I honestly wouldn't be too surprised.
side note, wish people would stop with the x killer is trash/garbage/needs buff no, false, you are just trash/garbage/need buff, no one is perfect with a killer the first time they play them, plus you dont have access to all the perks either, and generally, noone runs the killers unique perks after getting adept, so people need to stop assuming new killers are garbage, every killer is viable, you just have to find the killer that suits your playstyle, if you do bad on a killer, either you dont know them well enough, or they just arent for you, dont force the devs to change the game for your whims, THAT is the definition of entitlement
