Bond or Kindred better for solo play?

If you want to unhook a mate off, then go with kindred. That way you can see the killer's aura also, and see the direction they may go.

Well it prevents YOU from going for an unhook when there is someone else trying that.

But the number of games i have lost as a low rank survivor when i have Kindred and see both my allies trying to hookrush a camped survivor is pretty depressing.


But, yes, Kindred is a nice perk.

Kindred makes people quit faster because then everyone sees how worthless they're all being to the team and want to move on to another game to get carried

I prefer kindred for solo q because at least I know whether I can keep doing my gen or have to go for the save. Also lets me know if a killer has BBQ. But it usually doesn't help my team if I'm the one hooked, even if I'm being camped, because typically all 3 of my teammates still try to race each other for the unhook.

I prefer bond, it prevents sandbagging and when there are only 2 survivors alive you can lead the killer to that one guy that's just hidding waiting for you to die. At least you 2 would die as a team.

Both Kindred and Bond are pretty good combo. Even with Ace's perk Open Hand lvl 3 makes the aura reading become much larger range. Even possible to see which direction the killer is heading to. And it makes bond more easier if you see other people working on a gen, so you don't run into them while they are working on a gen.

Kindred gives me a temporary Bond by itself, while also merging with Dark Sense in a technical way
