You know what the beauty of nurse is? That the more skilled player will win the chase, granted nurse mindgames work diffrent to other killers so you need to understand how it works exactly.
Line of Sight is a big factor, probably the biggest one. Breaking it can be essential as it forces basicly a 50/50 on the nurse whether the survivor kept holding w or double backs.
Slugging the whole team at 2 mins can only happen if survivors group up... you shouldnt do that. Same as like a team getting slugged by Oni with one use of his power.
general guideline, split up, do gens.
Try to use terrain to your advantage, nurse gives you clear indication of what she is doing, you know how far she will blink before she does.
Potential mindgames is for example to fake a double back while she charges her blink, what i mean with that? Fake that you run at her so she aims low in order to not overshoot and then do another 180 and keep running in order to keep the distance.
Also i think it kinda helps to play nurse yourself ( i am a nurse main) but I will give you that most people have no clue how to actually play against her, yes they break line of sight but faking a double back like I described is super rare and happens in maybe 5% of games at best.

Here is alot of it explained, hope this helps.
She’s far more fun than spirit, aside from laughing because I get to stand still and watch the survivor have a mid life crisis.
It’s kind of to each his or hers own, as fun is an subjective opinion, I enjoy the challenge but even I’ll admit as a 50:50 that I hate slugging nurses, but I really hate slugging in general, unless it’s to create a form of pressure since the unhooked ran at me without bt.
She could do with a visual indicator more centered.
At least she's not Hillbilly. You need your eyes on the survivor, your rev meter, and the overheat meter in the bottom left corner of the screen at the same time for him.
There's a clear difference between an experienced Nurse and a newer Nurse. That's in stark contrast to a killer like Spirit who can be easily learned and get almost as much as Nurse does.
I get why people find her not as fun, but I don't personally have an issue with her because of the high skill floor. If she was easier to play (like she was with her old addons), then I'd agree.
The other thing is the majority of Nurses make mistakes and are learning, so there is more counterplay there for you that's interesting and engaging. Very rarely are you going against a Nurse main with 5000 hours in the game that blinks perfectly, can read what you're doing, and knows where survivors like to hide.
What makes her not be fun? Is it because you can't just loop the pallet and perform a memorized run pattern like you can against every other killer?
That's exactly why people play nurse. Playing any killer besides Spirit or Nurse is unfun at high skill levels.
Would you allow me to educate you? What if I told you trying to loop vs a nurse is like trying to charge someone with a gun using your sword from 30 feet away? You fail because you use the wrong tactic.
I can often escape nurse just fine. In fact I prefer playing against nurse over many of the other killers because I know how to waste her time in a chase.
Most survivors only know one sound - the heartbeat. But did you know many of the killers give you a clue when it's time to take action? Against huntress she has to prime the throw so there is a sound queue when you need to dodge the "optimal shot". Against nurse she has to charge her blinks.
You've probably never seriously tried playing nurse and don't understand her mechanics well. If you can trick her distance wise with her blinks she can never hit you because she moves slower than you do. As a result Nurse is one of the few killers you can juke without needing any terrain.
How do you Juke Nurse?
1. Try to get her to blink the wrong distance. If she charges a long blink then run into her so she misses. She assumed you were going to run straight and you didn't so she missed because you doubled back.
2. Make her blink the wrong direction. This part is harder but it is a function of understanding the sounds she makes. Run in a straight line and if she is medium distance or more when she blinks change direction at exactly the right time and run say 90 degrees right. This is more difficult as distance from you to nurse gets smaller because it requires more precision.
3. Use obstacles to hinder her blinks. Nurse can't blink well through what she can't see (just like Nightcrawler). So go into a building and if you have a slight lead she has to guess which way you went. This makes it a 50/50 guess; in other words you have a 50% chance to make her need to blink twice to you for distance then recover then have to blink to you again to try and attack.
When you actually play nurse long enough you know where a nurse can kind of get stuck on terrain. Like you can stand next to certain trees/walls/etc and know that the nurse will often stop her blink on the far side. This level of mastery will only be learned by playing nurse a long time or if someone shows you the "soft spots" in a level.
