If they do it to secure a kill, that is intentional...
Blame the game itself. This game does very little and does not do much with what little it does. It's not the killer's fault for camping because their options are limited. The devs need to start DBD 2 and give killers and survivors more than just pallets, perks, and generators. More ways to catch survivors, more objectives for survivors to do.
It's also not a good idea to run for the unhook as soon as someone is hooked, I wish more survs knew that.
Yes, please... in fact, some things in DBD are just "unfixable", only a new game could solve certain problems.
They really went all in on generators... Someone said, "What if we also added..." And the boss said "No! Generators! Everything generators! Nothing else! We can put them on t-shirts!"
2. Body-blocking the Killer can be fixed by allowing a Killer to pass through a Survivor that attempts to block their path after a recognized 2-3 seconds. If someone wants to play hero, down the body-blocker instead. Not a big deal. Again, that Killer just wants to tunnel. Let's be serious.
3. Using game items such as map offerings, petrified oaks, etc are not an abuse of game mechanics. The game has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ map design, what Survivor is going to send their teammate into a Killer-sided one? Blame the devs for that. Petrified oaks? Hook design. I've had matches where none of these things affected the Killer. The Killer outplayed us and was able to 4k us without being scummy. I think you understand now.
4. Camping/Tunneling are abusive of the game mechanics because the Killer is a super-powered delete machine. They can tunnel you OUT of a match. A Killer cannot be tunneled out of the match. There is an obvious difference in ability here that clearly demonstrates who is superior.
2. it's not the case of one bodyblocker, sometimes it's 2 and even 3 people taking hits and bodyblocking you just to give survivor you are carrying enough time to wiggle out
3. there were also situations where survivors use map offerings and all escape
4. if you can't just do the gens while camped survivor is hooked, I can safely tell you there is a big skill issue in your team that focuses on unhooking that one camped survivor instead of just finishing the gens, 3-men escape is still basically a victory for survivors.
