i wish you didnt have to have a perk for the hooks to break after youve been hooked, or at least if there was a cooldown for hooks, so they cant just continuously use the same hook over and over.

Run away from the hook instead of standing under it.

i wasnt standing under it bozo, i was downed while another player was on the hook to a face camping bubba, and he grabbed me when i tried unhooking, and once my friend died he put me on the same hook, leaving me no time to wiggle.

In this instance it wouldn't have mattered anyway as it's a basement hook.

it wasnt a basement hook, and i had time to grab him off hook but the bubba still grabbed me and the unhook didnt work even though the unhook indicator was all the way on my screen, regardless it sucks not being able to do anything when they face camp. there should be a penalty for killers who stay by a hooked survivor for too long, such as blurred vision or they get stunned for a short period, so they cant face camp. but theres a cool down so they can come back, just not stay directly in the area.

If it wasn't basement hook, than this isn't possible, unless it was a hacker.
