Error Details Pak validation failed message

Am I the only one having this issue? I have contacted the dev and gone through their troubleshooting and had no luck. I have played on the same pc with no changes since I've had them game. Only since yesterday have I started getting this error. I have updated DX, validated the files via steam. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice and deleted the cache. I have also checked for any pak 500 and over. What else can I do?

you will need go back to the BHVR forums and log another support case :<

I just had this problem yesterday. I tried a lot of methods but failed. If you solve the problem, let me know

You have to delete some files in the Content Folder in the DBD Files, I don't know which one it is so I recommend you to completely delete the DBD Folder and then delete it from Steam and reinstall it again

I have spoken with them and they couldn't solve the issue. They told me to start a thread here.

There is another PAK issue on the forum here, they said delete the PAK directory and it will redo the folder, the issues not missing files, its ones you should have had removed during a patch clean up.

Lemme see if i can find it for you

Are you sure you deleted the whole dbd folder?
If not then try what "24m Huntress Ach :<" suggested

Ok, so ive been contacting the dbd team the past few days for this issue. Can confirm the suggestion from "24m Huntress ACH :<" is correct. To be clear, you need to go into your dbd folder, find the "Content" folder then delete the "paks" folder. Go back and verify your game files, its roughly 25gb to reinstall, once done it should work fine.
