I can't find games as killer

2v8 is just endless menu queue. And 1v4 is over 20mins without any games found :/
Is this just how it is now? I'm on EU if that matters

Haven't played 1v4, but in 2v8 in EU I find it's about a 15 minute wait overall. Slightly less with least popular killers (Trapper I find is a quicker queue) and a lot longer with the most popular (Wesker was pretty long, not even tried Legion because I bet it's like a 30 min wait) Also I think it's a bit quicker as a solo killer.

due to 2v8 event most are playing that. otherwise times are long for 1v4 . thats why these events are not permanant . also make sure yo have cross play ON as if its off wont find game most likly very much anymore sadly

I’m not on EU servers, but it might have to do with the fact that the +400% BP incentive frequently disappears for survivors in 1v4 on my server (I’ve no interest in solo queuing for 2v8 with bots) and the +300 XP bonus for all has brought out a TON of sweaty killers. Not dealing with that when I solo queue unless I’m getting decent BP compensation for doing so.

1v4 queues are reasonable 2v8 queues suck for killer. Could fix it by updating it to be 3v8 instead.

No survivor wants to deal with 3 killers-regardless of how many teammates they have. It’d have to be 3v12 not 3v8 for any sort of balance-and there’s already a problem with people not wanting to queue survivor in the mode. I don’t even enjoy dealing with 2 killers (I only enjoy 2v8 as killer, but the queue times-and frequent forced DCs in lobby when I finally get matched up in this iteration-are bad enough to stop me from playing the mode at all).

they wont do that itd be way to lopsided they've already said this. only reasonable way would be 3v12 but reverting maps back to original big maps slower gens . they wont do that but in reality thatd be best . these tiny maps and fast gens are so boring on both sides

3v8 would be better balanced than 2v8 is tbh.

I've been playing a LOT of survivor and one of the big differences in 2v8 vs 1v4 is that It doesn't really matter much if I have some bad teammates.

Imagine 2 bots in the 1v4 game. It would be as killer sided as 2v8 is survivor sided now.

Almost feels like going back to 2016 DBD. Medic and guide stacking is like old we'll make it self care with Old BRand new Parts.

I actually managed to find a game of 2v8 after 20mins with deathSlinger. It was fun, 7 kills. But man the queue time brings it down a lot (for me)

I don’t think that’s it. The first two iterations didn’t have Legion, they still had the queue problem. The best (temporary) fix, IMO (until they can be bothered to make survivor in 2v8 far more engaging) would be to allow killer players to check an option indicating they’re willing to queue vs 8 bots. There are so many people who want to play the mode as killer casually and they might rather play the mode co-op with another live killer vs-ing 8 bots than deal with the horrendous queue times. I know I would.
