They could had picked plenty of other locations within the RE2 Game and picked the worst map possible. Pretty good job so far, right?
But yeah, it should be reworked.
I get the map is iconic since honestly as someone who never plays the game I’ve seen that map at times. But god it’s awful for games like DbD and even L4D2 since I played a map of it on there.
But DBD is another game and probably it doesn't "fit well" in dead by daylight. The corridors are so tiny and like all indoor maps is not the best.
Imo , with resident evil chapter i would have to add a open map , for example Raccon city map as a urban context but not the police station..
Not to mention some killers are downright terrible to play on this map. It is good for killers that can benefit from cramped spaces but any killer with a wide arc rush ability or projectiles is going to struggle here.
As much as I like Resident Evil, I fail to understand why they picked the most cramped and convoluted map possible despite having plenty of alternatives.
