Out of the 8 years bill has been in dbd he has only gotten 2 cosmetics

i get not wanting to make cosmetics if you dont get a profit off of them, but really only 2 cosmetics? BHVR could put bill in any kind of outfit and valve would care less. hell id be happy with new cosmetic that is literally just bill without a hat.

BHVR doesn't own L4Dead and they can't just put him in any outfit they want

Valve is the license owner and they have a strict rule for cosmetics. All cosmetics must be free or free to earn (like all L4D DLCs was free!). Also ,maybe they got restrictions what cosmetics Bill can get.

Yes actually, they need to clear new changes with the owner of the IP, it's a real asspain with licensed content in video games. It's why, for example, characters in Payday 2 never got new voicelines for the new medic enemy, or why in TF2 some weapons didn't get stattrack varients

It's even worse when it comes to Movie Licensing. I feel sorry for the ones who actually have to negotiate those deals.

But Bill could get his younger version of him for example, some back in his days soldier skins, etc.

i'm with you i would love to see bill cosmetics he is one of my favorite survivors in DBD maybe if bill had more fans and people were willing to spend money i don't see it happening all we can do is hope it will get something in the future

Valve only wants his stuff obtainable for free. It makes sense bhvr doesn't want to spend the time and money for something they won't make any money out of which is a shame. I'd love to have the other l4d/l4d2 survivors as legendary skins. I wanna play as daddy coach
