Which way to prestige Killers for Perks (bc of the new Update)

Is it better to prestige all killers to prestige 1, so I get all the Perks (and then I start prestiging all killers to prestige 2 and so on. Like this I would have all Perks for Killers after some while, but only the perks on lvl 1.
Or should I prestige the first killer to prestige 3 and then the next killer to prestige 3 and so on? Like this I would have perks on lvl 3, but it would take a long while until I have all the Perks.
So is it more important to have a lot Perks on lvl1. , or less but on lvl 3?

I'm newish so don't take my answer as gospel.

I've been getting each killer to Stage 1 prestige, not stage 3 (so far).

Once you do that, the perks you unlocked will start showing on other killer's blood webs. So, for example, I unlocked Lethal Pursuer from the Nemesis web. All other killers get a yellow, tier 1 copy of that power for free. Also, the green and purple versions of that perk can now randomly appear on their blood webs, which means as you level the other killers up, you can end up with tier 2 or tier 3 versions of the power anyway.

If there's a perk you *really* want a free purple copy of on every single killer, then you would want to prestige that killer to tier 3.

Don't forget you can also use the Shrine of Secrets to unlock stuff. It works exactly like prestiging a character. If you buy tier 1, all toons get a copy, and the tier 2 and tier 3 version can now appear randomly on their bloodwebs.
