Players not healing themself at all?
So, haven't played in super long and when I did it was survivor.

But now when I started playing DBD again few days ago, but as killer which I'm new at.

Survivors I meet just... Never heal themself? They stay at injured state on purpose, even go up to flashlight me while injured or when I tried cenobite, one picked up the cube while injured. Even those who block for other survivors, while injured.
I hooked someone and the second the hooking was done, like I didn't even take a step, an injured survivor pressed in front of me to help them off.

I just feel confused why most go for risky plays and don't seem to even consider going up a health state.

Am I missing something or? I thought it might be the nurse calling they are afraid of , which I play with sometimes, but happens outside of that too and often.

self care got utterly nerfed
people might run OTR and can´t heal themselfes as its the new OP survivor perk

Very likely they aren't able to heal, they probably figured someone would have a boon up and are unable to find someone to heal them.

Aha, could be that. I'm so out of all the new perks and such

But saw also one that had a medkit and didn't do it, which was confusing. Or medkits doesn't allow you to self-heal anymore? Or am I just remembering that wrong

Guessing its a lot of solo players, and if self-care is nerfed, they might just not get healed by others.

Self care is dogwater now.
It sounds like you are playing against lower mmr or newer survivor players. When i started playing the game years ago my team mates would rarely heal each other. It was one of the reasons i mained Claudette as she could heal herself and find injured team mates easily. They also make stupid decisions like unhooking right in front of the killer.

Some killers like Legion or Plague its not worth wasting time to heal against them. The only other reason they wouldn't want to heal against Pinhead is if you were using that addon that lets your power injure healthy survivors.

Med kits do self care still.

But sometimes I'm out of charges but I'm not dropping that green med kit for nothin. Ima try to take that to the hatch with me lol.

Some people still use it with botany knowledge... 2 Perks slots for healing in the corner... XD

Really strong survivors heal less often. Not saying that's always the case, but healing is just another form of gen slowdown that lets the killer get more done overall in a lot of cases, so unless they're on death hook or need to rescue, they'll just stay injured.

Yea, I only started few days ago and play on&off. Up at silver something ranking, so not high.

So could be that too, just find it odd as when I used to play getting health up before doing risky things was like... Main thing to do

They might have thought I had that addon? Only played pinhead twice, so gotten some weird addons like reduced cooldown and turn speed.

Hahhahaa, sounds like me when I used to play, I will neeeveeer drop this item, even if it kills me.

I'm glad that people answered so nicely and explained it !

Hope to see you ingame so I can chase you around a bit!

Depending on the medkit... they may have already used it up. In the last 3-4 prestiges for my Bill I've seen maybe 2 (about 6-7 total) health kits that weren't grey. Always tons of addons for them tho.

i find it more efficient just to stay injured and only heal if you have to like before saving or if you are on death hook

This too, but only works well if team is actually playing like a team. If they aren't playing efficiently too and not splitting up hook states... best to just heal up if possible.
